Well, Asuka, I suppose. Especially in the End of Evangelion.

Of course, there's not really a normal, mentally healthy pairing for Shinji. That really was the best he could do lol

I can't think of any recent shows where the protagonist went with the tsundere and I wasn't on the same page.
Older shows though, Ranma 1/2: Akane Tendo was way too crazy jealous, especially considering neither of them wanted the arranged marriage in the first place. Also how she reacted to female Ranma whenever he would use his sex appeal to try to get something was likewise irritating.

Narusegawa Naru was also one who I couldn't understand why he would choose her, especially when Motoko was there and was far better as a tsundere, and just as a character in general to me.

I... Don't think it counts if she's smiling while murdering. Maybe a really happy Yandere? I've never seen that anime before so.. yeahhh. haha

Does Naru from Love Hina count as a tsundere or just a completely deranged psychopath and one of the worst characters of all time.

Because I honestly cannot see the difference.

She was pretty bad. Cute, but bad. I'm sure some people liked her the best 0.0

I think Naru is not as bad as people make her out to be mostly because her tsundere aspects have root in a crippling form of self-doubt. I think too it was clear we're supposed to view her as something ridiculous at times. The bad tsundere are just hot and cold when there's absolutely no reason to be; they have no backstory that would warrant it, and no real conflicts.

See, Louise was bad, but she had a decent balance imo. She yelled and blew s*** up, but she had a lot of moments where you could see her real feelings and get to like her.

Well, there's the main love interest. Can ignore all other advances.

I personally would love for an author to have a tragic love story where the main character is trying to get over his "first love". Like maybe introduce her then show the falling in love, then out of love. BAM! Relationship over, and now comes the growth of the character.

Honestly, I'd like to see one where the protagonist actually somewhat reciprocates feelings to each girl and explores their individual traits and eventually chooses his favorite, instead of: "she said something sexy" *I GET FLUSTERED, SCREAM WHAAAAAAAT, AND GET MAD* and choose the only girl who doesn't make advances.

I want to see someone who acts normal, and actually agrees to touch a butt or accept a kiss here and there. Most normal guys would. It would also make the "fighting" over him seem more realistic, because they actually have a reason to, instead of just thinking he likes someone else.

I agree, because there is more dere than there usually is with those characters. I thought she was a mix between "tsun" and "yan". lol

Louise generally was unlikable right off the bat though. Keitaro generally made mistakes and goofed up, and the response was out of proportion, but Saito if I remember did nothing wrong but show up, and from then on Louise treated him like an animal.

I don't think Motoko would have been a good match. Motoko falling for Keitaro was more about her own personal growth than him, really; there wasn't much she had in common with him until the manga author tried to turn it in a shonen direction towards the end of the manga and make Keitaro as strong as Seta. Naru really is a reflection of Keitaro in almost every way, sharing the same dreams but opposite too. I always loved the ending of the anime, where Keitaro is depressed due to failing, and everyone searches for him. Only Naru knows him enough to find him, though.

It's called Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. Bokusatsu means Murder through Bludgeoning, Tenshi means Angel.

Honestly, I didn't like Louise very much. It's not like a lot of the other characters had a deep personality either, but it still ended up being one of my favorite anime. I just wish they had stuck to the story more, instead of going full harem.

I haven't watched the whole love hina series- I generally try to watch a series for 2-3 episodes to give it a chance, and I watched LH 6 or 7 episodes but I remember not liking it very much. The main character reminded me too much of an ugly goofy perverted friend I have, and.. I couldn't unsee it.

Is it the whole "opposites attract" thing?

I don't particularly care for that overrated anime, but you're absolutely right. Taiga pales in comparison to Ami, who was clearly the best choice.

(if you look closely you'll see he's blushing, like your typical tsundere)

i mean, he is extremely sexy but he's soooo cruel to her in the beginning. Like he transcends the "typical shoujo bullying male lead". Even if he does straighten up and develops in a good way she still went after him when he was such a jerk.

sigh >.>

I don't really consider..Senjogahara a Tsundere.....she has way more class than any of the other trashy tsunderes. Same with girls like Inaba, and Kurisu from Steins Gate.

Indeed.
She's aware of it though, so that makes her the superior tsundere
