i was gonna point out an exception but to come think of it she is immature and a bundle of violence... but Kagura still beats any other of the characters Rie Kugimiya voices any day

Kagura is definitely NOT TSUNDERE!! when does she ever go DERE? Heck, she is more like a sibling to Gin-san than anything else

It's a thin line between tsundere and bitch.

but she never crosses over from tsun to dere... for one to be considered tsundere, there needs to be both parts.

This, Asuka is more of a bitch that can't properly express herself, in the end, she still never show "dere" side to shinji

sure, she kissed him in one scene, but then, she never really like shinji and continue to be resentful of him

...so much hate for the tsundere-loli archetype...

I'd have to say Kashiwazaki Sena, going by where the anime left off.

-and, don't forget "Semoponume".

Sena is a good character. She isn't necessarily tsundere, she just doesn't know what she wants. Once she figures it out she goes for it and becomes a lot nicer. She gets my stamp of approval.

I consider her a tsundere- at least when it comes to Yozora, that is. I like her as a character, but I just think that her obsessions can make her seem a bit crazy at times...

The Tsundere-loli archetype tends to be particularly nails on chalkboard screechy and seems to get away with even more bullshit/violence than usual for a Tsundere. >.>

I'm really not sure what the appeal of that type of character is in Japan. I mean picture actually knowing someone like that IRL. There would be no romance. It would be a race to see which one of you ended up in jail on assault charges first.

Then again, a big part of the appeal for anime, etc. is the fact that it's not reality. In fact, the thicker the line between reality and fiction, the more one comes to appreciate this fiction; no matter how weird it may seem IRL. At least, that's why I like the tsundere-loli...

My first thought was most of them and it would be too tedious to name them all. Second thought was, the protagonists are mostly poor excuses for human beings to begin with, so in the end the other contestants are actually the lucky ones not having to put up with them.
Though I agree, Kirino and Taiga are definetly at the top of the list and their "excuses" for being horrible bitches just don't fly with me.

As for Naru, the author acutally wanted Kitaro to end up with Mutsumi, but Naru(s tits) led the popularity poll and the story was rewriten into an akward mess.

All hail the Onee-sans!

I am amuse that there was a go to image for this exact discussion

As for reality vs fiction, it seems to be the opposite for the hardcore Japanese fans so I don't think that's it. I mean, remember a couple years back there was even that one Japanese guy that "married" his 2D girlfriend. >.>

Never mind all the desperate cries for help that are the dining out with a hug pillow, having dinner with the character on screen or celebrating "her" birthday, etc sorts of images that are around. I mean there's liking the fiction/fantasy and then there's

Honestly, it's easier to like the yandere girls than the tsundere. They aren't usually raging bitches, just quiet jealous, killers. Unless you're Yuno.
