So I was reading some of the comments on that article and some people raised a very important question: we're there any witnesses?

It would be weird for the police to believe a single guy who was like "I proposed to my girlfriend at the edge of a cliff. She was so happy that she jumped and fell. The end."

Read the article and you know why.Besides she dead and he a live. the dead can't talk. There were people taking photos of them I think. And A cording to the pictures and people out there.Every thing look fine and normal. Beside she dead and unless something says other wise, he innocent.

I went back to read the article again and I didn't see any mention of there being other people there. All it says is the guy's story and that he's currently not under suspicion. When someone was the last person to be with somebody when they died, they should be investigated no matter what their story is. Otherwise anyone can just isolate a person to kill them and get away as long as they have a story ready.

Not saying that's what this guy did. Just saying it's strange how the cops would believe that this girl accidentally jumped off a cliff when she was alone with her boyfriend.

Here is what the article says:

Dimitrina Dimitrova's boyfriend had planned the perfect proposal.

A waiter at the tiny seaside resort of Cala Tarida on Ibiza, he led his beloved to the edge of a cliff renowned for its spectacular sunset views. There, he surprised her by popping the question. Dimitrova jumped for joy – then lost her balance and fell 65 ft. to her death, Periódico de Ibiza reports.

Dimitrova, 29, initially survived the fall, but then suffered a heart attack from her extensive injuries. She died shortly after paramedics arrived on the scene.

Authorities say the shocking incident, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon, is not suspicious.

"Everything is pointing towards the death being the result of a tragic freak accident," a Civil Guard spokesman told the Daily Mail.

A source told the British paper that Dimitrova was visiting her boyfriend at the resort and looking for work on Ibiza. The two are both originally from Bulgaria.

"She fell seconds after her partner surprised her by proposing to her as she jumped up and down with emotion," the source said.

There is no mention of any other people being there except for the paramedics who arrived after she had already fallen.

Once I knew someone who was Bulgarian. I wonder if he's still alive or if he's fallen off a cliff.

Ok, first of all, the boyfriend was stupid for picking that spot in Ibiza out of all places. If just that didn't happen, everything would've been alright. Unless he proposed to her on train tracks. But I honestly cringed at this. This is so sad, and he probably feels guilty as fuck. And not to be heartless, but what will he do with the ring? If I were in his position, I'd still put it on her finger if he really loved her. Plus she did say yes.... if she jumped up and down. Oh this situation is so weird, funny, sad, and stupid at the same time! My brain is overloading...

That's sad.
I have to take that option out of my list of places of proposing marriage. I think it was a romantic and passionate place.
Damn cliff. Damn misfortune.

I don't know why, but that is both sad and funny at the same time.

^ This. More funny imo, I don't think she was marriage material if she's stupid enough to fall off a cliff.

Terrible how some people are using this tragedy to feed their egos. Congratulations, you are smarter than this couple, you also proved to be more despicable.

The fact that she died is tragic indeed, the way she died however, was hilarious!
