I've been trying to cancel and delete my account ever since the first day, and still, they won't let me cancel my membership and erase my credit card. I will call my lawyer and sue you guys, if you guys don't cancel my membership and erase my credit card. You guys are a scam, won't even let me do anything with my account.

Have you contacted support directly using the Contact Us form? If not, that's the best place to start if you're having trouble canceling from here: /acct/membership/.

Unless you purchased membership through iTunes. Then you'll need to start here:

I have tried EVERYTHING from the settings and since day one, NOTHING works. I just tried it again and it says I can't cancel my membership. So like I said, if nothing is done until tomorrow, I will contact my lawyer. Thanks.

Well, that's a pretty small subset of everything many people would try before contacting their lawyer. Things that might save you the time, hassle and expense of working with your lawyer are:

If you signed up directly through Crunchyroll, contact Crunchyroll Support using the Contact Us form.

If you purchased membership through iTunes, visit http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039.

If what you actually want is to completely delete your account, and not just revert to a non-paying membership you can do that here: /nuke (yeah, that "nuke" doesn't sound real professional, but that is the real link to the form that actually might do just what you want.

I would delete my account but I have to cancel my membership first, which I CAN'T, because you guys are a scam. Won't let me cancel anything and I have already sent a Contact Us form.

Thanks for clarifying. If you've received the automated message acknowledging receipt of your report then someone from support should be in touch with you soon. If you didn't receive the acknowledgment or it's been more than a couple of days since you submitted the form and you got the automessage but not a message from a staff person yet, be sure to check your spam folder. Some folks have experienced that crunchyroll mail ends up there sometimes.

I assure you that Crunchyroll is not trying to scam you, and that it's been my experience that they are very accommodating toward cancellation requests, and are probably just as annoyed as you are if there's some technical difficulty with the self-cancellation page. Depending on the volume of support requests it can sometimes take a bit of time for a response though.

HELP PLEASE: I want to cancel my membership and it will not let me! I tried the /nuke and it doesn't let me do that until I cancel my membership. THIS IS A SCAM

There's a 24 hour verification period for the payment method you have provided. You will be able to cancel the free trial as soon as those 24 hours have passed, and afterwards you can nuke your account.

Hi CR,

I'm unable cancel my recurring payment. I'm getting the error 'You cannot cancel your membership at this time"..what do you mean???..

Could you cancel my recurring payment and membership right away. This is really annoying.. Awaiting response.

I don't know..It still shows as 'Yes' in recurring payment.
