Howdy.

I was simply wondering if anyone else is annoyed with app for the Xbox (one) console.

It doesn't seem that user friendly; When you add an anime to your queue, you can't really select it and browse through the episodes unless you search for it manually, during the "anime" tab; and when you do search for it you can't cycle through the letters from left to right.

I.E. I want to search for Hunter x Hunter and key in H and It would be shorter to go to the left side, where A, and should appear on the right side where Z is to hit U. Not that big of a deal but, eh.

Also I was wondering how we could suggest titles we would like to watch? I really would love to see YuYu Hakusho added on here!

And how would I be able to find out if crunchy roll has the complete series of an anime before I watch it? (it really annoys me starting a new, fun, great anime, and to only find out 3 episodes into it that crunchy roll does not have the entire series; I would of rather not even started it!

Thanks again for the information and read.

Can't help with your Xbox, I use a Roku, myself, (which pretty much does have the functionality you are looking for), but for the rest, if you're an ongoing member, not just on a free trial, you can join /group/CR_Premium_Members and suggest additions here:

As I recall, the early seasons of Familiar of Zero, one season of Fairy Tail (13-49 for now), most of the early Case Closed series, which is a recent simulcast pickup, maybe a couple more I haven't seen, but there are not too many other partial shows here... Unless you mean the ones currently being simulcast each season?

CR's main focus is on getting new shows the same day they air in Japan; that's really the main reason to be here (although their catalog is getting pretty large now)... You can see that list here: /videos/anime/simulcasts or here: /lineup

None of those will be complete until they finish airing, just like new shows on TV.

There's a thread in the Premium Members Group for making suggestions. Here's the link:
What series/movie/drama/manga would you like to see on CR

I'd say check another source like MAL (http://myanimelist.net/) or even wikipedia to find out how many episodes the show has, and to get an idea of if it's complete or still ongoing.

Then go to the show's page on the CR website (or equivalent in the Xbox app--since I don't have one I don't know exactly how that works there) and compare the episodes you see to what you learned.

While there are a few cases where CR has one or two seasons of a mutli-season show but not all, it's pretty rare for it to not have all the broadcast episodes of a season or continuously running show. Off the top of my head the only ones I know of are Case Closed (CR has just the most recent episodes) and Fairy Tail (missing eps 13-48).

OVAs are a different matter. If they weren't broadcast it's pretty rare for Crunchyroll to have them.

Thanks for the replies! I guess I have been browsing the "popular" section on the Xbox application and Started 2 animes that I suppose are being simulcast?

Teraformars & Yuna of the Dawn; great anime's but stopped midway through bot their second seasons.

Yona is still running, yes, but Terraformars has ended, at least for now. It will depend on whether there is enough source material, and also whether sales of DVD/Blu-ray in Japan have enough sales once they have been released before the powers that be green-light another season or not. Sometimes all you get is an OVA or two, sometimes a movie, other times, nothing at all. Sales have to be really good, or there has to be a compelling reason to continue, like it is being used for promotion of the manga, or light novels from which it was inspired.

Edit: As Lorreen says above, check myanimelist.net or animenewsnetwork.com to see how many shows there are for the series you are interested in, and whether they have finished. Another clue is on the CR show page, near the show description if it is ongoing, it will usually give the day of week and time that the show airs.

Edit 2: I think maybe for Terraformars, you are seeing what appears to be a second season, but is really a separate release of the uncensored episodes? The full show is out, as it aired in Japan, with censorship blocking a lot of the action, but CR is slowly getting the rights to have it available both ways. Because of the way CR is structured, something like a re-edit version, or a dub, or in this case acquiring the unblocked version, is listed as though it is another season. Currently they are up to eps 3&4 uncensored being released, along with two additional more every month, until the end of June, when that last one will be added.

So If you want to see the entire show right now, you can, but you have to put up with the censored version, which looks like it is season 1, to do so. Otherwise you'll need to wait until June 24 to watch it uncensored all at once.
