Don't get me wrong, i don't defend ISIS in any way, shape, or form, but its America's fault for everything, literally everything. Every war thats ever happened was because of us. If the US wasn't so hostile towards the Middle East, none of this would have happened. The government leaders and the Elites in our society are to blame.

There's a reason why the US is hostile toward the Middle East. They believe if you don't follow Islam, you're the enemy. They massacre their own people just to instill fear in them. If we leave them unchecked, will have terrorist knocking on our door beheading us.

Yeah we Americans twisted others arms to attack Israel:

1 War of Independence (1948–1949) Arab invasion of Israel repelled. 1949 Armistice Agreements; Israel kept the area allotted to it
2 Sinai War (1956) Victory Sinai demilitarized, UNEF deployed.
3 Six-Day War (1967) Victory Israel captured the Gaza Strip, Sinai, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights.
4 War of Attrition (1969–1970) Both sides claimed victory Continued Israeli occupation of Sinai.
5 Yom Kippur War (1973) Arab invasion of Israel repelled; UN ceasefire.
6 Operation Litani (1978) PLO withdrawal from Southern Lebanon.
7 First Lebanon War (1982–2000) Defeat PLO expulsion from Lebanon. Israeli withdrawal from Southern Lebanon (2000).
8 First Intifada (1987–1993) Oslo I Accord PNA established, PLO recognizes Israel.
9 Second Intifada (2000–2005) Israeli West Bank barrier constructed.
10 Second Lebanon War (2006) Stalemate Ceasefire through UNSC Resolution 1701
11 Operation Cast Lead (2008–2009) Rocket fire from Gaza reduced.
12 Operation Pillar of Defense (2012) Cessation of rocket fire into Israel.
13 Operation Protective Edge (2014) Destruction of Hamas war tunnel system.

If you can't get your way just keep killing and justify it as your God's will, America's Fault???

We can't be responsible for literally every war ever, the country is 238 years old, and only a super power since the end of WW2. Not to mention being historically inaccurate. As for hostility toward the Middle East, only in so much as they threaten us and allies.

Yeah, I'm afraid the USA didn't cause all the genocidal feelings in the Middle East, despite how hip it is to blame the USA for random stuff. The region has a very long history of problems.

The sniveling, monstrous cowards hiding behind those black masks have no intention of letting go of any hostages they take. Pay them and they'll just want more and more, changing the terms as they see fit to try to maximize profit to keep funding their rampages. There was nothing Abe and his government could realistically do, given the ludicrous demands. I feel terrible for the victim's families and hope that at some point, the ones that committed this barbarism get the kind of slow, painful deaths they so richly deserve.

^this.

ISIS does this just to display their power, by showing the relative powerlessness of Japan and every other country in the situation. I'm sorry for the victims and their families.

Seriously, people and journalist need to stay out of that area. Go photograph koalas or something instead of trying to film the ongoing conflict over there. If people still go despite the risks and get captured, there should be no room for negotiation with these terrorists. Every ISIS prisoner we have needs to be publicly and brutally executed . It's these radicals like ISIS that make people hate Islam as a whole. The people over there need to do their part and not cave in to their demands, join their group, hide members of ISIS or fund them either.

This is incredibly dangerous close-minded thinking that's got America into the sort of foreign bullshit that exacerbates these issues.

That last comment genuinely made me laugh... I'm out of this thread though.

You think Daesh should be executed brutally? You don't think that feeds into the propaganda that'll end up with more kids leaving their homes to join the Daesh Brigade. The endgame for the region won't be "We killed all the Daesh". They'll just disband and reform under new leadership. This war only has an ending in their hearts and minds, you can't kill an idea/belief with bullets.

Why are we shocked? We knew what was going to happen, it was only a matter of time.

That tweet from Sept. 7, 2010, has been embraced by social media users as a fitting memorial to the 47-year-old freelance journalist.

"Closing my eyes and holding still. It's the end if I get mad or scream. It's close to a prayer. Hate is not for humans. Judgment lies with God. That's what I learned from my Arabic brothers and sisters." - Kenji Goto
