Ok so honestly?? In that case I think I'm a pretty good looking guy but very insecure as well.. Although I must say I sometimes don't care at all about what people think of me

After reading this thread I realized something, the majority of its participants see themselves as something bad or unworthy. I don't believe in that, you shouldn't see yourself as a underachiever, an outcast, or unwanted. Be optimistic! Because if you continue to insult yourselves you'll never realize just how special you truly are. I believe that you all are much better people, there is no need to put yourselves down! If you don't believe me at least know that I think you all are unique! (In a good way of course)

When it comes down to it I see myself as an underachiever because I set goals for myself that others see as ambitious if not outright delusional. I figure if I aim high I will still be good after falling short. I'm not satisfied with just good enough. I always want to take things to the next level.

In other words I am optimistic in my own way. I believe everyone has a high potential if they try to reach it. I hope everyone else can find their own blind confidence to rally behind too

I'm a work in progress that struggles with not setting herself up to fail with a perfectionist unforgiving mindset. I lack trust in myself and my abilities but somehow manage to stay eternally optimistic underneath all the crap. I also think I'm pretty funny even though I'm the only one laughing at my jokes most of the time. Also pretty open minded so that's nice too. It's hard for me to judge when I'm already weird.

If there's anything good about me, it's that I'm kind and open minded. I can empathize and sympathize with people, variety of age. I think I'm the kind of person who really appreciates happiness.

If there's anything I need to work on as a person, it's my somewhat low self-esteem. Also, if I become depressed, (something I've been diagnosed with) I tend to lose all motivation.

Overall, I think I'm pretty normal. I have my issues, but I think it has benefited me as a person.

As you well know, I'm one of you, deliberately, purposefully. What you may not know is that you can become one of me, too.

Mostly everyone view themselves negatively, which is no surprise really. We all have worse thoughts about ourselves than any of our friends or acquaintances do. Saying you're average or a loser doesn't really say anything about you other than that you're not content with yourself.

I am not content with myself either most of the time, so I'm not trying to hate on anyone here.

But back to what I think of me: I'm kind, a little lazy to the things I am not interested in, too focused on the things I am interested in, I try to be fun to be around when with friends, I'm always willing to help others with things I can help with, I'm athletic(quite a bit of my time goes to training), I have a lot of empathy for others.

What do I think of myself?

I think of myself quite selfish and stubborn. I'm usually known as the "quiet one" but I do have a voice, too. I've been called a nerd by a few people, but I'm not.. I'm an otaku! I love to draw, dance, and sing- but, I haven't done much of it lately since I don't think I'm good at it. I think I let what people say affect me too easily. I don't think of myself as pretty. When guys ask me out I wonder, why? I look around and see much prettier girls. At times I think I let my family down; I think they wish I would do something more with my life.

Some good points about myself would be that I'm a good listener. I can't say all advice I give is all good ideas but I try to look for solutions. I'm quite honest/blunt so if you want to be told straight up about something, I will be at your service? XD Um, and I'm good with kids? Well actually I'm more like a big kid myself so maybe that's why I like hanging with little kids better than adults I'm very good with changes, in fact, if things don't change up a bit I get bored or sad easily. And sometimes I like the attention, for example, dressing in cosplay and going to store or to school.

True that there isn't any need for putting onesself down needlessly, but these are presumably just ppl being honest about how they feel, although cumulatively no it didn't sound encouraging. If some prefer honesty over superficial immunity & falseness then so be it. The perceived contemporary failure in social media lies in lies Ask any real girl, anybody who has no emotions and/or claims to never gets upset or feels bad is nine times out of ten fake. If someone is trying to please everybody all the time, they must be lying to somebody, right? As for me I too am one of those that feel lost.
