My family is really understanding and I feel really honered that I'm their child. Although they are extremely Catholic, I have told them that I was athiest and they took it like it was just a normal thing for me to say... more like "Mhm, okay...".

My immediate family are adherents to the Christian faith.....but since this is religion we're talking about, I should make some clarification(s). We are Christian, but we're not fanatical or any of that sh!t. I never asked my mom what her denomination was, but we're of the non-Catholic variety. I myself am a Presbyterian Christian, confirmed in 2001.

Messianic Judaism for myself and my family. Some people think its a little weird to see a menorah and a Christmas tree in our house, however we aren't offended by the observation of others, its not like the world needs more people to be offended by every little thing. As on the topic of conversion or sharing our faith we usually keep it to ourselves unless someone of their own volition wants to know more. As my Father once told me "We should be messengers, not enforcers."

I think the only atheist in my family I can think of is my aunt on my mother's side along with her husband. Now does that mean that we have impassioned arguments around the holiday table? Of course we do but its kept in good spirits and at the end of the day we're family. You always look after family.

Roman Catholic, but we're not really hardcore into religion. My family tend to throw around let's say grace once in a while but not really religious. I on the other hand. I'm on that "Long Hair Dont Care" business.

Mom was Protestant, Dad was Southern Baptist, my wife is Lutheran, Sons Lutheran, My daughter is...Buddhist?, and I flop between Baptist and Lutheran. Lutheranism is pretty cool, you can get bombed on Saturday night and make it to late morning service. Yep the trick is to understand that God is not as angry and mean as the people who claim to represent. I believe that chillin with Christ and laughing with God is the way it's supposed to be. Why would a parent want to make their kids life a living hell? Gods the same. Unless the parent is a sociopath, I'm pretty sure God is more into humor than pain and suffering, after all he always says to alleviate the pain and suffering, in other words everyone need to relax and yuk it up.

Everyone in my family is baptist except for my mom and her husband. I however am non-denomational because i think you should interpret what the bible means to you and not just follow what it means to other people.

I think my family would be too complicated to explain and I don't want to write an essay.

My mom is semi-Catholic, I think? I'm not 100% sure. My bro and I were raised without a religion, though. Thank goodness for that. I'm agnostic, my dad is an atheist, and I haven't the slightest idea as to what my bro might be. He doesn't tell me shit, lol.

I am a Jehovah Witness. I have no idea what my sister is, but I am pretty sure she doesn't really believe in God. Not sure about my brother. My mom TOTALLY believes in God and is also a Jehovah Witness. I guess the only downside for me is that we CELEBRATE NOTHING except 1 holiday that I think no one else celebrates. We aren't really THAT serious about it. We go to church sometimes, and follow the rules of the religion, but we don't follow the strict rules.
