What are some of the most interesting things you done in your life?

^ Typo. ^^'

So, the people of Crunchyroll, what are some of the most interesting things you've done in your life?

Here are some of the most interesting things I've done...

I've been to nine different states.

I've burnt myself (accidentally) five times.

I've burnt myself during a presentation, but kept doing the presentation despite that, and won second place.

I've had a severe sunburn.

I've donated to locks of love.

I've volunteered more than once.

I've been to the beach and the mountains...

I've planted a plant and had it sprout up only a week later.

I've stood up for myself more than once.

I've stood up for my friends more than once.

I learned how to (kinda) use chopsticks.

I've ridden in a limo. It was awesome.

I've learned how to shoot a gun. (for self-defense, people, jeez)

I've learned how to sing.

I've learned how to (kinda) draw.

I've ridden a horse.

I've met the author of a book I read. (she's a relative. XD)

I've almost been hit by a car.

I've had a CAT scan.

Once I was walking by a pool and I slipped, fell in and almost drowned...

Yup.

I'm a bit sleepy now; I have a huge list of interesting things done and achieved, but I would have to say one of the most interesting things I've done which always makes me laugh is that I had my nose broken playing rugby. The amount of blood lost and the shape before the operation to fix it was intriguing.

The first thing my mom said was "who's going to marry you with a nose like that!?!" Thankfully it was fixed!

Every day that I wake up and go to work I praise god for the opportunity to have another day to live, we hope. Being born would be a great event for me, getting though school, getting into anime long back into there somewhere. Just general nothing to brag about.

Hm. I'll narrow mine down to a good ol' top 10:
(in no particular order of importance, and trying to stick to 'happy' interesting things)

- I've constructed a fully functional flamethrower based on the American M2 from WWII.

- I fell from a 3rd story rooftop and came out with nothing more than scratches.

- I actually have been hit by a car, and it just tossed me. Came out of that fine too. Messed my bike up, though.

- When I was in elementary school, I snapped my left arm in half by falling onto a Furby awkwardly. Yes, a Furby.

- I've been shot by a 12 gauge shotgun slug in order to test the effectiveness of my Kevlar. It shattered my ribs, but didn't pierce.

- I spent a week wandering around going out of my mind on psychotropic drugs. When I was lucid again, I was in New Mexico.

- In a fit of stupid youth; I almost burnt down a community pool(buildings on site) while playing with gasoline.

- I once drove my car home from up in the mountains with my brakes out. I would not make that decision again if I could go back.

- When I had my aforementioned broken arm; I still played little league baseball with my cast on- did pretty good, too.

- I've accidentally 'breached' a secure zone where SWAT was storming a house. I had an MP5 stuck in my car window and was told rather harshly to leave.

There, I believe at least some of that qualifies as interesting.

-Lyme disease debilitated my Knees-100% recovery

-Hit by a car and snapped my arm in half-100% recovery

-Pursued my education in architecture and graduated 2 years ago.Enjoyed every moment of the more than 5 years.

-On my way walking home one day, I heard a shotgun near my neighbors house and was choking on gun smoke.(I live near hillbillies and hunters, not gangsters )

-Going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art

-Use to walk 10 miles a day too and from work and it was always an adventure.

I'm durable, and can be motivated, but hopefully will have more exciting stories to tell

I've traveled a lot, since I have a goal/wish/quest to visit at least a big majority of the countries in the world(if not all, but that's unlikely)

- I've been to: Every country in Europe except Belarus.
- I've been to Angkor Wat in Cambodia(you know, that temple from the jungle book).
- I've been to Machu Picchu in Peru
- I've been to Petra in Jordan(you know, that desert place from Indiana Jones).
- I've been to Brazil(not that cool if you're from Brazil. I'm not).
- I lived and worked in an orphanage in Kenya for a while, and during my stay I went on safari and other stuff like that.
- I got lost in Bangkok while searching for a friend(turns out he became buddies with a cab driver and they had been cruising bars and strip clubs, he definitely has the more interesting version).
- I've made out with a giraffe, a wolf and a lion. The giraffe had experience.
- I got arrested in Mexico, can't really remember why, but we(was with a friend) bribed the police officer.
- I spent a couple of nights at JFK Airport, feeling like Tom Hanks in The Terminal(I even had to wash myself in the rest rooms).
- I've traveled across a country having just 2 dollars on me(I didn't use it, more like evidence that I didn't have money when I was riding with buses and ferries).
- I learned how to play guitar, bass, drums, piano, cello and violin. Can't sing for sh*t though.
- I make music every day(to me it is the most interesting thing I can do).

And more stuff but I think the list is getting too long now.

-Slept in a graveyard while travelling to see a long distance relationship girlfriend.

- Nearly died more times than I can count (starting with an accidental hanging when I was 5. Most of the others are "nearly miraculous" near misses in auto accidents. Nearly got splattered when a car going 60 mph blew a tire and was within a foot of hitting me, another was when I was a kid and was riding in the back bed of my uncle's truck during the winter. Slipped on a patch of ice, and tumbled several times over down the side of a mountain in quite literally the ONLY clear patch devoid of trees for miles... )

-Then there's the near misses to serious injury, like when I thought a bandsaw was turned off in shop class and began trying to demonstrate for my shop teacher that it wiggled too much by grabbing on to it while it was still moving. A few electrocutions, including when I was, once again, about 4-5 and I did the sticking keys into the electrical sockets thing... And then in order to not get caught, I reached back and pulled them out.. They were scorched and a little deformed..)

- Tried to move cross country with a freind who ditched me. didn't go through with it..

- worked with fansubbers for two or three episodes

- write biographies on some world famous designers for one of my jobs, only to have either the designers themselves or their family reach out to my boss for either corrections to my work (damned typo once made one of them contact us to tell us he wasn't QUITE as old as I published. a family member of another recently contacted me to ask me about my word usage.. O.o) and with that job, basically what I write tends to proliferate the internet like crazy.... Mainly cause of my awesum google translate skillz and the fact that a lot of the info is either in books or in danish online, and pretty obscure so....:P

- I run a community garden in my home town, and in addition to that, I grow something like 500 starter plants every year in my apartment that go to a fundraiser... (with extra flower plants being donated to the local parks at the end of the sale)

- I also work at an independently owned hardware store... Sounds mundane but it is one of the most interesting and most "problem solving" types of jobs I could ask for. A lot of people come in with random stuff they want help figuring out and fixing. Recently I fixed a rather complex mechanism for a screen door hinge

- I'm also in my third year of being on the executive board for the local business association without having ever owned a business...

- I like to make books and bookmarks. I've only had a handful sell, but they've shipped to at least four different continents (lulz internets)

- I home brew (primarily ciders) with moderate success. I actually own a small wine/cider press.. (and that's got an interesting story behind it on it's own)

- I recently found out I have a half sister across the country via FB... O.o

- I'm technically a published poet. O.o (small press, submitted purely on a whim. It got accepted, and I got a request which I never followed up on to resubmit for a different issue from a second publication. 2 out of 5 submissions there. :P)

- oh yeah.. Firearms? I have a gun crazy uncle around 5-6 (those were interesting years.. ) I fired my first rifle (.22 caliber) I'm not a gun person, but my extended family every now and then gets them out and we shoot at trees... And most of us have such shitty aim we can't even hit them

- I'm sure there's more but I'm drawing a blank..

-I peed in my pants in the first grade because I was too shy to ask to use the restroom. (I was in the computer lab.) Nobody noticed. The last 15 minutes of school that day, I sat in the sand and dried up before I walked home with my Mom.

-In second grade I found out I had allergies after playing with pollen from a tree. I later found out that I had asthma after having an asthma attack triggered by the allergies.

-When I was in elementary school, I went to a baseball camp at Stanford University and there was a hitting competition, where I won second place out of over 100 kids. The next year I got first.

-In eighth grade, I got two of my bullies expelled. I told one that the other was talking about his sister (he really was). They got in a fight in class and I never saw them again.

-I played baseball together with my Dad in a Japanese American league when I was 14.

-I dyed my hair blonde junior year.

-My junior year in high school, I signed up for this baseball scouting program at USF. I was clearly the nervous underdog who was only there for experience. We were having games and I ended this huge guy's no hitter with a nice base hit into center field. Coaches were inspired enough that they made me lead the cheer thing at the end of the day. I was like "Me!? Ok... D-Dons on three... ONETWOTHREEDONS!"

Nothing really interesting. I'm pretty boring actually. I have a youtube channel with 1000 subscribers and that's about it. I find it funny that people actually watch some of my videos. I'm trying to get back into making videos, but college is distracting.
