Pretty much every day, unless I get severely ill or something. Sometimes twice if I'm coming home from the hospital.

I grew up in a drought infested desert. Shower once a week, no lawn to water, only flush when you go number two. That's how thing had to be.

I have a bath or shower once or even twice a day in the summer. Allergy problems mean I don't use deoderants or body sprays so it's best to have an extra wash to keep fresh. There was a week though where my skin was so painful that I stretched baths/showers to every 30 hours instead of being at least every 24 hours. Hair can get washed (well really rinsed in my case because I don't use shampoos) everyday or 3 times a week or once a week depending on what's going on. I also haven't used soap since I was 12 my hypersensitive skin protested too much so I had to take the doc's advice and avoid them or risk itching 24/7 plus rashes that can get painful at their worse with flaking oozing skin. People have told me I have lovely skin. They don't know what it takes for me to have it looking good.

Naya Rivera from Glee got into big trouble when she said on TV that showering everyday is "a white people thing":

Lotsa people flipped out on social media sites, Naya had to apologize.

So. Do you shower everyday?

i spend alot of time in the shower...but i don't wash anything. skin is super dry and i get rashes with unstoppable itching some times, so i avoid the soap and let my skin stay oily. if that sounds gross, it probly is. but its a small price to pay to hold off and insatiable itch all over my torso with damn red dots. damn meds.

And then off to work. Daily habit, unless on those rare occasions where I do not plan on leavinng the apartment and I decide to quite literally spend ever blessed moment in my bed.... Those days I don't shower, and I revel in the glorious slothful behavior for all that it is...

Waiting for water to heat up doesn't seem like it should be that bad, but I absolutely detest it.

I have it piped in from purgatory itself. Not gloriously hot, even when it does heat up, and not hellfrost cold....just irritatingly "a little bit warmer than lukewarm" water. Precisely the temperature equvalent to eating plain oatmeal for every meal for the rest of your life...

Perhaps you want to try out tankless water heaters, one on each side of the house if it is large. Once the cold water bleeds out (which should be quickly with that setup) you will have unending stream of hot water. If using a standard heater you might want to check the thermostat or change the element.

Unfortunately, I rent. I have little to no control over those things.

I shower every day. I don't like the way my hair feels otherwise. It's super long so I prefer it when it feels clean and fluffy to grimy and oily. I'm told my hair is pretty healthy despite all the shampoo.
