I read a thread about games people play to feel relaxed so I thought that I could see what other people enjoy playing when their stressed out.

I find that playing Shadow of the Colossus and just exploring tends to be relaxing for me.

There was a long stretch where all I played was Ninja Gaiden II on Xbox 360 and Ninja Gaiden Σ2 on PS3.

It's very difficult but I really enjoyed it (so much so that I have 100% completion on both). I would just play survival or the online mission mode for hours.

For the most part, hack & slash games I find relaxing. You don't really have to think much and you still get the enjoyment of just bulldozing through enemies

My favorites (aside from the Ninja Gaiden series) are the Warriors series (e.g., Samurai Warriors 4, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn, etc)

I play a lot of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. I enjoy the little rogue-like games, the way it plays makes it an endless loop of fun. Other than that I'll occasionally play a game on the PS2 emulator.

My go-to "relaxation" game would definitely be either Elite: Dangerous or X3: Albion's Prelude.

Playing any game at my leisure is relaxing for me. I'm so picky with titles that I enjoy and relax with whatever games I buy.

Pokémon these days though, help me relax.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe. Kirby franchise is probably the easiest platformer I've ever played. All you do is inhale enemy and swallow it or spit it out to other enemy. Don't you all agree Kirby is adorable, right?

Though to be honest, playing game doesn't relax me at all. It actually tire me more due to blue light emitted from screen.

Little Big Planet 3.

Because there is just a happy childish environment that keeps encouraging the user to not worry and move forward. Sometimes you just want things to be easy like when you were a child. I totally veg out to the crazy trippy colors and stuff too.

The Sims, and recently Tomodachi Life.

Easy, non-competitive games are best for me to relax.

1. Street Fighter Alpha 3
2. The King of Fighters 2000
3. Capcom vs SNK 1 & 2
4. Marvel vs Capcom 2

I usually play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to relax but end up even more stressed out due to losing a close game in MM.

Anything that is not PVP. PVP is when I feel competitive.

Minecraft, although creepers will make it a bit less than relaxing.
