^^ Hahaha

Well, I'm doing good. Yawning a little. My night owl powers are being attacked by the sandman or something...

You could always move to Alaska - it's only 10:24 pm here!

Haha! Maybe I should! I heard it's beautiful there. Oh! Do you get to see the aurora borealis? Down in ontario, we don't get to see it.

I can see the aurora most of the time, as long as the sky's clear and I'm awake when I glance out the window. But usually, it's nothing spectacular - just a green glow in the sky.

Wait, that didn't make sense....

Should be, " as long as it's visible when I'm awake and looking out the window."

Aw, shucks. But is it at least an eerie x-files type of glow?

Yup. Sometime really bright, sometimes just over the horizon. It comes and goes, and moves around a lot. You have to be in the right place at the right time. Just last month, we had a spectacular show! People have posted videos of it on YouTube.

Oooh! I definitely have to see it one day. But it'd probably be cheaper for me to go to Nunavut than Alaska. I wonder if it would look different depending on what longitude you're at. I've been studying liberal arts for so long that I've forgotten half of any science knowledge I might have had

This was from March 16th, and what it looked like from where I live. It's also what I used on my profile page.

This aurora was from the same time period, as seen from the Yukon area.

And finally, this one (same time period) was seen in Michigan.

Wow! Each one is stunning! The Alaska one was the most vibrant, Yukon's was like a highway of dancing light, and Michigan's was super colourful. If you can see it in Michigan, than maybe I can see it from where I live (if I got away from light pollution). I'll have to look it up
