What are your favorite things to eat/drink around this time of the year?

Bacon Bacon Bacon.

Hmmmmm Yeah, I eat the same foods year round. Sometimes I might decide to go out of my comfort zone and drink some hot chocolate, but that's about it.

Sashimi. I see the Japanese side of my family once every New Year and my cousin who's a chef, makes plates and plates of it.

Also, during Winter, my friend's mom makes a lot of Pho.

I'm starting to salivate. -.-

St Bernardus Abt 12 (750ml) with a tray of Yellowfin tuna sashimi from HEB (Tuna is the only fish I like raw, and HEB does a great job of getting high quality tuna, although it is more on the lean side than the fatty side). I dip the tuna slices in Tamari soy sauce instead of regular soy sauce, as regular soy sauce is too salty and drowns out the flavor of the tuna. No ginger and no fake wasabi.

This combination is currently my favorite snack of all time. The sweetness of the Dark Belgium Ale mixed with the slightly salty and strong umami flavor of the tuna as it melts in your mouth is heaven.

Not only is this my favorite winter snack, it is also my favorite spring, summer, and fall snack.

Pho!!!! Vietnamese style and Phnom Penh style!!! I can't eat it just once and be happy so I spend a crap ton of money on ingredients to make a super HUGE pot of it at home...that way I can eat it for days if I really want to... which I've done just that many times happily. I'm not greedy though so I do invite my older siblings to come over to eat along with their kids. UGG I'm hungry now...

Since it's cold, I like to go cook really spicy foods. Like omu-rice with tons of crushed peppercorn, red peppers, green peppers, and onions:

Cup noodles
Hot chocolate
Junk food

Anything that's I can eat when I'm hungry (And most likely falls under the [Not Healthy so don't eat on daily basis] category.)

I've recently just discovered the most wonderful drink to ever grace the face of this planet, so I will have to say that during this time of year or any time of year milk bubble tea with boba is the BEST.
