not really...

I have a few goals, but a purpose or a meaning? I don't have such things.

It's unfortunate to see that a lot of people (and some people posting here) really believe that their "purpose in life" is to be born, suffer, then die without purpose or meaning. It is the way you are perceiving and defining "purpose in life" that's giving all these answers I'm seeing. A lot of people are thinking that their purpose in life is what they do (ex. getting their dream job, getting rich, etc, which are all nice goals don't get me wrong, go for them!) but I hope that someday you will realize in and take comfort that people are not the things they do, they are not their feelings, they are not what they say, because they are not a body. Sorry I know I feel like a wise ass but If you are looking for purpose or meaning in life in the outside world (which is subjective because everyone's perception is different and always changing, so how can it be truth or universal?) it's impossible to find it. The outside world can not offer you any purpose or meaning you are seeking; it is only within you.

It's like almost 12am and I haven't slept well at all and I don't think people may know wtf I just said because I'm just reiterating what I learned from being "a course in miracles" student. so sorry

Well said! Personally, I feel that my purpose in life is to support and care for the people in my life who are important to me. Perhaps in the future I will be drawn towards a "greater purpose" or something like that but for now I'm trying to appreciate and enjoy living life as best I can.

The purpose of my life is to crush my foes, have them driven before me, and hear the lamentation of their loved ones.

But really, all my life I've been creating, either art, or building things or, as of recently, computer-related creation [coding, digital art, etc.]

Recently, I've had a life-changing experience where I had to get back in with my parents, but they've taken care of me so I've been able to pursue my whole creation schtick again, in this case, making games.

It is a LOOOT of work though, but knowing even a handful of people would download one of mine would be an exciting event.

My calling is to let my over-imagination run wild. And being perfectly blunt to others around me on what is on my mind. Stagnation is a bad road to go and following normalcy is quite redundant.

deep question. someone said that if you have no purpose or goal, you do not live but just exist, occupying space. My current goal is to finish raising my son to adulthood. (actually, one is never done with parenting, even after the kids have grown up.)
My goal and major purpose is to spread peace, love, understanding, etc. through laughter and the wisdom i have obtain throughout my travels in life.

There's live to work, and then there's work to live. I'm probably from the latter, so if i can find work I'm happy with, and earn a decent amount of money, I'd probably be happy with that.

To try to be happier more often, and healthier, and to appreciate those that appreciate me and not fret over the ones who don't.
