I'm talking about life events like when to get married or have a baby? Are you one of those people who believe that by a certain age certain things should/would like to happen or do you believe they will happen when they happen regardless of the time in your life?

Always plan ahead ... if anything interesting not in the plan happens just take the opportunity and make use of it ... if things didn't go as planned well there is always other plans BCDE etc... don't know if that answers ur question ...

...but then time passes by without any real attainment... can't believe i'm already 26. so I don't really set a timeframe any more. only setting yourself up for disappointment.....

Planning to do certain things in life can have its up and downs. Live everyday like its the only chance you get but plan for your future by making small monthly goals that will eventually lead to something greater.

rarely.

With a family and children though I'm painfully aware that I need to be doing that sooner rather than later, but have limited options.

No. Although I am probably gonna wait with marriage and children until the age of 30-35, so you could say I'll plan ahead for just that.

But everything else; no.

Not really.

It's more interesting to just let things happen when they do.

I generally like having plans for things. But sometimes life just says "screw your plans". So I don't know that there's much point in doing things like that other than to have an idea of where you're trying to go.

Children would be something to set a time limit for since after 30 your chances decrease drastically... But I really don't want children. I'd like to be married before 30 lol. But I gots time.

for me there are things i feel like would be better if i did them during my teenage years... but they aren't huge major things like getting your license or married or having a baby. nah... nothing like that. only do something when you're ready.

but for me, it's mostly swallowing my own fears and hanging out with new people and trying new things. i missed out a lot for my first 2 years of highschool and it just makes me sad...

I'd like to get my license before I reach 20, I guess, but apart from that I've planned nothing. I don't want kids and the concept of marriage is a case of 'More no than yes but cross that bridge if you come to it'.
