"sleep paralysis" the scientific name for being visited by a demon.......

It only happens when you sleep on your back if you would like to not have this happen...

Dark entity watching over you try as hard as you can to scream and all you can do is murmur.
Once it was not a dark entity rather what I perceived to be my girlfriend walking into the room and laying down beside me, only once she got close I realised It was not her at all. Would have wet my pants if I wasn't frozen by the aura of terror. why is this female alien demon laying beside me.... Later discovered my girlfriend was infact a demon so maybe it was her
Our brains are loopy when we sleep(sometimes when we are awake also), but if we did actually see something that terrifying our reaction would be much like sleep paralysis.

I can't speak for others, but during sleep paralysis, you're so scared you can't even think straight. Like I'm religious, but when I get sleep paralysis, I'm so irrationally scared I would not stop to think "hmm let me pray real fast." During more extreme incidents, I can't even think "oh it's just sleep paralysis, I'm fine." I just immediately start fighting it so it can end.

I've experienced sleep paralysis numerous times, and 90% of them happen while I take naps during the day. It gets really freaky when you can't move and it feels really hard to breath.

I've noticed that when it happens, I am fully aware that I am falling asleep and it scares me so I resist and try to stop myself from sleeping and then I realize I am paralyzed and my head starts to ring with loud noises and sometimes I hear loud (seemingly random) voices in my head and also hallucinate a bit.. If I actually fall asleep then I can lucid dream though which is cool lol but I guess that's for a different discussion. Anyways, my way of getting out of it is to wiggle my toes since that seems to be the only thing I can get to move (at least the easiest one in my experience) and once my toes move I gradually am able to move the rest of my body.

I haven't had sleep paralysis for a while though and I can contribute that to my new work schedule that doesn't allow me to take naps anymore .

As I state before if you get this a lot and you seem like you're unable to breath and folks tell you that you snore get check for sleep apnea. The Night hag herself is harmless it is your brain trying to deal with the fact that you are in a lucid sleep state. Everyone goes into sleep paralysis when they start dreaming this is to keep you from waking up and harming yourself when you act out motions in your dreams you can see it in animals when they dream it is normal wither or not you remember it is determined by how deep you are in your asleep this is why all us folks that snore should get checked for apnea since we tend not to sleep well on our backs since it can cause our airway to become obstructed which wakes us up.

Sleep apnea increases heart disease and stress and other issues. You tend to be run down all the time always tired and never enough energy to do what you want to. Also tend to make you more grumpy and short of temper after all you aren't sleep enough. there are several forms of this most are fixed by the CPAP machine folks that don't like to wear the mask should research mask-less systems and see if they work for you. I swear by it best sleep I had in years was after I got the machine.

When I was a kid I used to have it sometimes. I'd dream that I was awake but unable to move my body nor open my eyes. I'd scream in my head hoping someone would hear me to wake me up. I also used to have a reoccurring nightmare from which I could not awake until it played out to the very scary conclusion - until I found a way to thwart the demons in my nightmare, but I didn't always remember how to thwart the demons, so at those times, I'd have to endure the demons' torments.

A lot.... A LOT... probably a million times.

I have tried turning sleep paralysis into lucid dreaming before but it turned out into nightmares (like trapped in dream world) and after that I would always wake myself up coz I'm scared falling asleep during sleep paralysis (I think I'm dying ). and whenever I do experience sleep paralysis, I always hear evil and creepy sounds and see paranormal stuffs )x I really hate it. I think the way I'll die is through sleep paralysis (heart attack from those creepy stuffs lol)

actually I've researched about sleep paralysis before and found out praying is one of the stuffs people do to get out of sleep paralysis. I thought I would give it a shot to see if it would really get me out of sleep paralysis but whenever it happens, I always forget
