UPDATE: Download link still active. Also looking for a Background colorist. PM for details.

Hi guys, old timer / recent comeback here.

It's been a while since I've been to crunchyroll's Creative forums. A lot has changed since then... like A LOT. I can't even trace my previous threads here.

I started my writer and in-extension, my game-dev dreams here. So with the final release of my first game nearing, I ought to return here as thanks.

Here's the premise as taken from the itch.io page:

In Delinquency, Discipline, and Disorder follows 63 days in the life of Elisa Augustine. Elisa is a straight-A student who has nothing going on for her except studying, bread, tea, letters, novels, the usual chatter, and teasing her best friend. She tries to change this routine and herself by taking winter classes; and becoming the wintering student council president- something most winterovers take for granted.

Genre:
Slice of Life, Romance, Comedy(?)

Gameplay:
Dating-Simulation

In case you're the type of person who would play a game because of the characters: http://fav.me/d8fmlrs

Anyway, my game can be downloaded here: http://project-rothera.itch.io/2059

Tell me what you think! and if you've downloaded and played it but decided to drop it, please do tell me the reason. I admit it needs a good deal of improvement in terms of script.

I like the style of it, but I don't exactly like the combat system. It's too static for me. Good work so far, though!

By the way, if any of you are using Linux and want to try this game, reply to me and I'll tell you how to get it to work flawlessly.

I can compile a linux only build... but I didn't since I don't have a linux machine to test it on. Would it change anything if people were to play the dedicated linux build instead of running the windows build on their linux machine?

No, of course not. A game of this scale requires the skill and time of more than one.

I mostly did the code and the story. The art and the backgrounds where commissioned from several people.

Yes, it would definitely make it easier for us Linux users to play your game!

As of right now, if you wanted to run the game in Linux you have to install some programs and configure a few things to get it to work, which can be a hassle for a lot of people.

Well I updated the Itch.IO page to include a 3-in-1 build (Windows, Linux, and Mac).

Hopefully it'll work well.

Welp guys another update, albeit minor in importance.

Day 19 (Actual Demo) Will be released later than expected. I never thought it'll need a lot work. This proves that I got to Day 60 without giving a damn about proofreading and quality.

The builds are still up! I'll be taking them all down by the 28th so if you want to help... or wish to help... or downright constructively criticize my efforts... Please give it a try and remember to take note of things that you didn't fancy.

Your usernames will be included in the credits as testers.

And oh, if you liked the game... please do share it with your friends!

Game is still up in itch.io! and I'm hoping to find a collaborator here in the forums. I need a BG colorist (who can work for free. I know this is asking too much.) so bad.
