Japanese Hotel to Be Staffed Entirely by Robots.
Posted 2/7/15
With robots, gadgets, and gizmos taking over real social interaction it's no wonder Japan has a population growth rate problem.

Japan is opening the first hotel operated entirely by robots. With androids already being used in Japanese hospitals and nursing homes, The Hen-na Hotel will attempt to capitalize on the benefits of using androids to reduce labor and operating costs. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is also employing its first robot 'Nao' to deal with customers in branches. The robot is able to speak no fewer than 19 languages and can determine customers' emotions from their facial expressions. We take a look at the new technology, in this Lip News clip with Elliot Hill and Mark Sovel.

So you will stay in that hotel if giving the chance ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SMU0tmAtTY

They didn't provide any sources in the video description. I don't think they're lying, but I don't trust them when there's no way for me to confirm how legit they are.

Google it. Is all over the internet. Here another source. http://www.forbes.com/sites/timworstall/2015/02/07/nothings-new-about-this-japanese-hotel-mostly-staffed-by-robots/

Grammar please.

Back on topic, are there sexbots?

You are nip-piking. No but some of the robots had 24 fingers. Don't ask me why, because I don't know.

I'm not interested in handjobs. I've seen what could happen.

Some believe the influx of robotics stems from the population problem, not the other way around. There are many other factors to blame for the low birth population.

Ever watched Ghost in the shell? Robot lovers is a dangerous thing!

lol... so are human lovers...

Not really, if you make a good choice in living human lover then there won't be anything dangerous about them.

You can control robots far better than humans.

That's awesome. Solely on the premise of a hotel run by robots, that's a great push in the ways of technology. It's crazy to see how far we've come.

Robots will take our jobs soon. Still, automating everything is the most efficient. The question will not be whether or not I wish to go. In just a few decades, we might not have much of a choice.

Indeed, their government has said no to mass immigration and turned their hopes to robots.

I would never discriminate against a robot*. If they can do the job, I don't see what is wrong with it. Although the more jobs we give to robots the more unemployment we create.

* Robots, remember I am one of the good guys when you take over the world.

I don't think I would stay; I find human looking robots creepy. Like porcelain dolls they look close to human but not enough so they're creepy; If they were to the level of persicons from chobits or regular robots maybe I would but not now.
