English is my first language, I took some french in school, but can't count that as a second language.

Not sure why but just can't seem to pick up a second language, have been trying to learn Japanese so I can shut of the subs, but I guess linguistics just isn't my thing.

Nope. I went through at least a dozen languages as an infant before I started speaking one that other people could understand. One language of particular note used a word that sounded like "Alligators" for everything.

Mine was Taiwanese, then Mandarin. English is my third language. My grandma speaks Japanese and she raised me in the place of my parents so I can understand basic Japanese, but I can't speak it.

No. My first language is Hawaiian Pidgin. (If that counts? It is mixed with Hawaiian and our own slang words.)

Yes. American English, anyway. I had to learn some Spanish in high school, and my lack of enthusiasm was more than apparent. I'm glad that I learned to roll my r's, though.

Honestly, I have no idea. My parents were not born here, but I was. But I spoke English and Chinese at the same time. But I took ESL class during elementary and barely passed.... so.... Idk, I guess not? But now I speak more English than Chinese to the point that I have an accent when I speak Chinese.

Oh, I should mention, the Chinese I speak is Cantonese. Not Mandarin. I did take Mandarin class before and was able to read, write and speak it. But I stopped taking classes since the school shutdown, so I completely forgot it. I understand some phrases though.
Took two college semesters of Japanese class. Didn't really help since I forgot it all and I blame the class.

Yup. I wish I was as fluent in German and Russian speaking relatives, they learned English. I'm too Americanized for them.

Since I'm of Italian heritage my first language would naturally be sarcasm, but I suppose you could say my first language is English. Have been making a personal effort to learn Irish though since I'm more-so Scott-Irish than I am Italian or German.

Nope.
My native languages are Mandarin/Cantonese/Other Chinese dialect. I am forgetting all my chinese lately. I don't really care about my culture, language because I am in America. I LOVE ENGLISH MORE THAN ANY OTHER languages combined.

I wish English was my native language.

I've made a conscious decision to want to immigrate elsewhere. Trying to learn Japanese.

Hahah.

The struggles, but I think most people here would consider moving to Japan.

Cajun-French, Italian (because why not), Spanish, Pig-Latin, Sign Language, and Japanese!

Pig Latin? You can learn it in about ten minutes but why?

English is my first and French is my second but I haven't had to use it for a while now and I am really, really rusty.
