So you talk to your friends online. You like him/her and you tell your friend how much and why you like them. How much to have those comments of you saying things like "i can't think when i'm near her" would you pay to keep them private. How mortified would you be if all facebook chat comments were made public by a hacker.

I would be completely crippled socially if all of my zero facebook chat conversations became public.

I think i'd have to find a new job, or country to live in. Desire is a horrible thing when misplaced.

My FB posts aren't interesting enough to be worth anything, as far as I'm concerned. Truthfully, I'm more curious about what people would pay to keep their CR posts private. I'd be a little mortified, regarding a few conversations. Once again, though, I wouldn't pay a cent. The likelihood that anyone I know or would ever meet offline would find out, or remember for long, is pretty much zilch.

Shameful rip off, indeed! LOL! I ain't mad at you, though.

To answer your question, I don't really use facebook other than to advertise my business, BUT, if I had a woman that I had feelings for and she didn't know it, I wouldn't pay to keep her from finding out. If someone discovered it and was about to tell her, I'd beat them to the punch and call her first. The worst thing that could happen is she say she doesn't feel the same, and then things would be awkward for a little while. I've been there, it's not that bad. Better yet, she could feel the same and the hacker actually did you a favor!

You see, the thing is unless I control the communication medium myself I already treat it as if it were public.

We live in a strange time.... The expectation of privacy is still there but the privacy itself isn't.

If a hacker read my private messages, he/she would probably turn them into a love novel and make millions..

like I've said in all the threads similar to this one; I don't have any secrets and i'm not ashamed of anything I do. and I don't need other people to feel shameful/embarrassed for/by me.

that kind of living is imprisoning to me. artists have to be free and feel free from oppression of society and culture.

like idc if people find out what kind of stuffs I watch/read... I mean if you know what kind of stuff I watch, you'd realise in comparison, it'll make Christian Grey looks like a puppy.
But am simply not ashamed of it. I don't see any reasons to. I don't have an act to keep up, nor do I have the need to keep friends by keeping any secrets-- if people don't want to be my friends because they found out about certain things, they weren't friends to begin with :-/

___________

if I like someone, I let that person know. I have this philosophy where I like to let people know they're appreciated while they're still alive, not when they're dead and buried.

like I said numerous times before, I won't be going to anyone's funerals, not even my parents'. because I don't believe in such primitive bullocks. and I don't need to appreciate dead people.

Probably none. Usually all my embarrassing stuff is me gushing about my boyfriend, who's already read most of those conversations.

Hmmm... not what I expected the discussion to be about.

I have no fear.

To quote 1984,
"Nothing was your own except the few cubic centimetres inside your skull."

If you want to keep secrets, that's the only place to keep them. If you want to disavow knowledge, tell nothing but half truths, lies of omission, and falsifications that mirror the truth so closely as to be indistinguishable.

The space inside you head gets weird sometimes. Sharing that with someone you trust over any kind of text based comms that is supposed to be 1 on 1 makes me edgy sometimes. Theres a record being made somewhere, wouldn't like that to be made public. I should probably tweek less and not frequent the places that play loud music to amuse me while i do it heh.
