Tomorrow, anime as you know it changes forever. You can only choose one of two options:

Either all of the anime you have ever seen and loved will be destroyed forever,
Or all of the anime you have never seen before will be destroyed forever.

You will either be deprived of your favorite anime and everything related to them for as long as you live (including Manga, specials, live-action, collectibles, everything). Or, you will be able to keep those cherished animes at the cost of never seeing a new anime again.

What do you choose?

If you've seen part of that anime, then the anime is saved. If you've seen none of it, it's destroyed.

I would save the future, because there are several sequels I'm looking forward to (not to mention new Studio Ghibli films).

the past. The industry might crash and burn by 2050 when the japanese population drops to a ridiculous low due to low birth rates.

Plus the past has Berserk, The slayers and all the good early 1990's and 2000's anime :3.

I'd cheat by going to the future, stealing timetravel equipment. Then go back to save the old. Would probably take new but then new would become old, it's endless timeloop.

I pick save the future becaus you never know how good of anime will come out of it. Plus there would be the possibility of the old shows getting another season sooo ( gotta love them loop holes )

wait so you remember what you watched in the past just can't watch it again? yeah screw that, future. Most things I never re-watch ever again. Also does this include its source material? or next seasons/remakes? How deep does it go man? also you said it is only what you have seen, so if its an old anime you can still watch it as long as you haven't seen it? I've seen 200 anime, yeah so destroy 200 for the whatever number probably more than 10,000 or so I haven't seen? sure.

But if it is time based that is much harder decision cause if you sacrifice everything that is out, there will be NO anime then it will resume, but slowly so instead of the 10k old anime you will get 10 or so currently airing shows lol. So yeah it really is a question of how far does it reach and depends on how the rules work is how you would vote. The current wording makes it sound like future is the better choice to me though.

Either or both is fine by me. Losing anime would mean my ennui levels would rise, but that is survivable. Besides even if they were physically destroyed you can always rewatch them in your memory.

I would have to say future, I'm interested in seeing how anime will progress over time.

The past is limited, the future is endless. Therefore the future it is.

future for me. seeing new anime is better than revising old ones.
