Shirobako is awesome! Where would we submit a key frame if we decided to do one? And does the key frame have to have crunchyroll-hime doing any particular action?

Just post it here in the thread under a spoiler tag! You can have Crunchyroll-hime doing any action you want - points for creativity!

Alright, so I've never EVER created a screenplay format before but here is my best shot. Following the screenplay is the actual narrative I drafted for the scene. I'm not sure how to attach this or embed the post so hopefully that won't disqualify me - I'm just going to use my best judgement. I will try to work on a key frame and maybe a calendar while I'm away on business and get it posted before the 23rd deadline. Thanks Crunchyroll for this creative opportunity!!

**Narrative**
Chronicle
Inception. A collision of egg and sperm create a biological big bang. Twenty-three pairs of chromosomes melting together to form a new, unique individual; that’s how it normally happens. Sometimes, you get an extra chromosome. It just branches out. Scientists understand how it works, in theory. Evolution. Just not why. I’m an ordinary human, with an extraordinary power.
“Come on, come on.” I pleaded with urgency as the last of the files downloaded to the micro USB. The pleading wasn’t going to do me any good with a system that was outdated by at least a decade. But that’s how they prevented the data from being stolen, by not upgrading into the universal system and having everything networked to the mainframe. If you left things rudimentary, it had to be done manually. My heart was beginning to race as the sounds of fighting became more intense outside the office door. Hime-chan must be giving them hell. At 99% completion the office doors shuttered with a thud. It was extremely quiet for a moment and when the download was complete three men came bursting in. Hime-chan was out cold on the floor. It was split decision time, fight or flight. Decisions, decisions.
“You don’t have anywhere to go.” said this linebacker sized oaf of a man. He probably had no functionality in him whatsoever but strength enough to crush me, probably.
I smoothly pulled the micro USB from the port and sizing up my odds between the three of them, the linebacker, the marathon runner, and the slacker. What a combination of minimum wage security. These men are dressed in ill fitted suits in a sad attempt to look professional. The slacker, whose gut could be seen protruding from his undershirt, has a smudge of chocolate on his tie and I can't help smirk a little. By the looks on their faces I can tell they are, at the very least, smart enough to know I think they are nothing but jokes. Behind me was the window, several stories up from the street below. What was I to do? Leave Hime-chan at the mercy of this odd trio, or take the files back to headquarters to be cracked? I didn’t want to resort to this, but I can’t leave Hime-chan. God knows what they’ll do to her. With some slight concentration I focused on the linebacker’s jugular vein with an image of pinching it shut. Within seconds he dropped to the floor. The marathon runner and slacker were stupefied. With another focus I launched some papers into the air for distraction, vaulting myself over the desk, planting my heels in the solar plexus of the marathon runner. Two down, one to go. As I was falling towards the floor from the impressive drop kick I just executed I stared hard at the slacker’s kneecap with an image of it shattering. A guttural scream of agony burst forth from the slacker. His leg gave way and he came towering down as if he were a large building being demolished by dynamite. I planted my hand down, stiffening the muscles in my arm, allowing me to pivot and bring my foot crashing along his temple. Three down.
I just hope no one heard the scream. I looked around the room, pretty impressed but also a bit fatigued. There’s no guidebook to this ability I have. When I use it drains me physically and mentally. It’s just a matter of practice and training that has gotten me this far. When my ability first developed I would practically fall asleep after using it. It was exhausting. Just moving something an inch or two would have my lying face down in the dirt. Not so much anymore. “Hime-chan. Hime-chan, wake up.” I shook her a little to bring her to her senses. “We have to move. Going down is probably not an option.” I said to her with a sense of urgency. She opened her eyes slowly, her mind regaining its sense of equilibrium.
“What did you do, Hogosha?” she asked a little shocked.
“What was necessary, I couldn’t leave you here. I mean I can now that you’re awake if you want. But I have a feeling we’ll have more company in a bit, and if you couldn’t take those stooges out, something tells me you’ll be sleeping on the job again.” I joked.
She didn’t find it very funny and huffed at me while she got up, dusting herself off. Independent as always. Looking back towards the window I hinted that there’s only one way out. “You up for it?” I asked her, gesturing my hands to show chivalry. “Ladies before gentlemen.” I added with a smirk.
With that she ran towards the window, monkey vaulting over the desk and diving out the window onto the adjacent rooftop. Damn she’s good. “All’s clear!” she shouted. So I made my way across in the same motions, using the windowsill as a platform for extra push. Feeling the wind against you mid-fall is exhilarating. You’re free for seconds, but it seems like eternity. We’re not meant to fly and I’ve never met anyone who can, but I sure feel like I am every time I’m in the air. I landed on the roof, rolling forward, using my momentum to refrain from being injured. When I got to my feet Hime-chan was already sprinting past me. “Race you back, winner buys dinner!” she yelled back to me before she leapt into the air. I sprinted as fast as I could, I felt like a leopard chasing its prey across an open field. The world was our playground and right now it just happen to be the bustling city rooftops. I vaulted, rolled, leapt, cat jumped, and precision jumped my way across 2 miles of expanse to catch her. Hime-chan didn’t have any abilities but boy was she athletic. She had the endurance of a tri-athlete and the physique of an Olympic gymnast.
As we neared the apartment I closed the gap. Focusing to create a spring-like force beneath me I long jumped across the final rooftop, waving down at her as I sailed across the sky. “You know I don’t like losing. But, I still buy dinner if you want.” I chuckled. She was mad, I could tell because she hated to lose also. As I prepared to land I focused a thin area of cushion to soften my landing. Gravity sucks sometimes, so I cheated every once in a while. As Hime-chan made the home-stretch leap I heard her gasp. She had lost her footing and began to flail as she was heading right towards the side of the apartment complex. I pivoted quickly, without thought I jumped off the rooftop, diving right towards her. This has never happened before. She never lost her footing. I slammed into her and we were falling like a ton of bricks. Did I mention gravity sucks? Force equals mass times acceleration. We were going to be turned into soup if I couldn’t focus a waterbed or something, anything. I never had to focus this hard. I hope there are no serious repercussions, but I gave it everything I had. I couldn’t let her get hurt. Straining my focus as hard as I ever had I envisioned a giant air cushion, like they use in Hollywood films. “God, I hope this works.” I said quietly as I shut my eyes.
I felt our weight being equally distributed until we softly touched down on the pavement in the alley below. Just when I thought everything was okay and I had survived an extreme focus, I passed out. Damn, just when I thought I had played the part of the hero and survived a catastrophe. Ha, look at me now. When I came to we were in the apartment. My head was pounding and I felt like I had long night with Jack and Jim. Note to self, focusing that hard leaves you with a hangover. I started to slide myself off the bed, every muscle aching, screaming at me to not move. So I didn’t.
“Hogosha, you awake?” her soft voice floated from the doorway.
“Yeah, you don’t have to be so loud. Your words are echoing inside my head.” Seriously, they were. I wasn’t trying to sound like an ass, but I couldn’t help it. I felt horrible.
“Thanks, for saving my tail. I don’t know what happened.” her cheeks flushed for a brief second. Did she fall on purpose? “We’ve made some progress on the data. Ryo’s been working hard for the last 10 hours.”
Ten hours! I was out for ten hours! Holy crap, that focus really took it out of me. “What did he find?” I asked quietly so as not to make my head explode.
“Well, half of the data is corrupt. However, the fragments he’s pulling are going to blow your mind!” her voice began to rise, remember then I was not in a state to handle excitement. “I mean I know you’ve always thought you weren’t alone. Well, we have some proof you’re not. There are others.”
“What? Where?” the questions began coming out one after another without response from Hime-chan because I was just too overwhelmed. What I had thought possible is now becoming reality. I’m not alone.

Would a Gantt Chart be overkill for a schedule?

Yeah, a spreadsheet probably would've worked, but my project management classes at uni kinda got me used to a Gantt Chart instead. This might be an optimistic schedule though...

Update: Wrapped my entry in a spoiler tag in case that's how you're identifying entries.

Oh jesus. Alright, I'll give the key animation one a shot, because it's probably the only one I'll have a hope of a chance in. Lol

Clearly, this is a cleverly designed ploy for Crunchyroll trying to get the community to create a Hime anime for them for free.

..... I'm on to you OP!

Any way you can extend it just a little more? I sort of don't have a lot of time on my hands for the next two weeks due to work
