Alright, I'll try to make this fairly quick. Earlier today I found that my membership had expired, no big deal. So I went out and purchased an ITunes card, redeemed the code without any issues, and the money transferred in to my account. I then went in to the Crunchyroll app on my IPad and upgraded my account. Now this is where I started having issues. The money for my purchase was indeed taken from my Apple account though I still lack the ability to watch premium videos. The option to upgrade my account is still there, so I've tried a few times to purchase it again, though it states that I have an active membership. So I'm not really sure what's going on. The system seems to realise I did purchase a membership though it won't give me access to what I should have.

If someone could help me out ASAP it'd be greatly appreciated.

I'm having same the issue Except I was using PayPal. I was able to use it for the first two weeks of the trial and I just had a payment taken out today and I am not able to watch ad free shows on the website or on phone or log onto another Apple TV. So I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do and I just want to make sure that I'm not being charged for something that I'm not getting the abilities for. Also I've tried to contact through the email several times today and I have not gotten a response back which is really concerning to me.

You didn't specify whether you bought an anime membership or anime and drama membership, so I'll just try to help you if you bought the anime membership.

If you bought an anime membership and you're trying to watch drama without ads, Crunchyroll wouldn't allow you to. You would need to buy an all access membership.

If you bought an all access membership, I would recommend just emailing Crunchyroll. Premium members are guaranteed to get a reply back from Crunchyroll.

You've logged in and out? Tried logging in on a browser and its still not giving you premium access?

Don't expect an immediate reply same day.

Im having the same issue, apple took my money away and I cant watch anime without the ad. It seems that crunchyroll isn's doing anything to fix this S***. Im pretty sure it's not for drama cause i tried to watch drama and there still ads. so yah they badically just took our money.

I've not been able to locate a premium membership on your account, that's why I previously asked you whether you have a second account on your iOS device, maybe using a different email address.

I've forwarded your issue to see if you are affected by a failed renewal on behalf of iTunes.

my Icloud email is different from my crunchyroll email adress but im using the same device for both my crunchyroll and icloud and i dont have a second acc.

Crunchyroll just won't take my money it's getting annoying. I want premium membership but it won't give it to me because they seem to think my billing info is invalid or void plus I live in Canada and I we don't use zip codes we use postal codes. I've contacted my bank and they say everything is fine and to contact crunchyroll. It would be helpful if they had a number instead of an email to send to :/

I recall a similar issue coming up in the past, and the solution was to use a random 5-digit number, and the system would somehow figure out that you are using a non-US credit card.

I recently made a new account because this one was under my family. And i Accidentally put the wrong email address and it has my card info under it the email i mistake from auto on my phone under [email protected] Please cancel it because i can not get in hence password issues please help me i dont want to get billed for an account i can not use. HELP!!!
And support has not got back to me at all i made a report about it last week.

Same problem here, I have a premium membership, that is working fine on my Apple TV, but will not work on my iPad app, it sees all my 'Queued' shows, so it's definitely recognising the account, it's just that it's only offering me the free option not the premium one I've already paid for in iTunes.

I wouldn't mind, but my main mode of viewing is actually my iPad, so I feel I've just paid for nothing!!!

This really needs sorting, and going on the fact that we can't use the premium service at all on the iOS devices, those that have paid for this should receive some form of fair reimbursement.

Send us a ticket to /contact. I'm not a specialist for the iPhone app, but others on the team are more experienced with it, so they should be able to help you.

I am trying to renew my member ship but some non intelligent person gifted me a seven day pass that dosent work so now I can watch anime at all not what I'm paying for someone needs to contact me asap

I had a similar problem, and decided to move over to https://vrv.co, which has a $10 bundle including CR, FUNi, and 6 other streaming services. They've got an iOS app, too.

But if that doesn't work for you, you'll need to /contact customer support directly.
