Oh, Rumbling Hearts is a good one as well. 5 Centimeters is how I feel about my Ex, we had a similar relationship. Rumbling Hearts is how I feel towards women.

I don't think anime in general really helps heh heh.

If it were me I would choose slapstick comedy like Gugure! Kokkuri-san because you'd need lots of laughs to get you out of the funk.
