Hi I just want to talk about North Korea since in my Global Connection we have been talking about it so I want to know what you think.

I've never been but I have seen enough MSN that I could call myself an expert on the matter. Kim Dong Fun is a seriously bad dude with it out for the USA. We had a chance to patch it up with him when Dennis Rodman and him started going steady but recently he seems to be really jealous of Franco's and Rogen's relationship and when Rodman wasn't sure he wanted to take it to that level yet he got even worse. The real crisis is in his missile development though. At the rate he is going and with the resources at his disposable it is entirely possible that he will be able to produce his own line of Nerf guns by 2034. This could be bad news for the popular toy brand so everyone is pretty interested in the outcome.

(sarcasm) I think north korea is the best country in the world, way better then any EU country and much better then the US... And it has such a great culture that Japan and the rest of asia just get's jelly at their swag. (end of sarcasm)

No, but seriously... I had to write about N Korea in a subject at school like a year ago... And guess what I found out? They drug their own people rather then giving them food.

It's all fun and games until they actually start nuking people, then it's time to turn South Korea into an island.

Well, let's see. They're effectively a single party totalitarian autocracy which has built its culture around militarism and suppression of essentially every civil liberty you can think of. Its economy is functionally dead, standards of living for all but the elites in Pyongyang are through the floor, malnourishment and disease are rampant to such an extent that what meager facilities they have are utterly overwhelmed, poverty is completely out of control, and people are willing to dash across minefields and duck electrified fences to have a chance to escape.

...I don't think it's especially nice there, no.

He needs to step down from leadership and allow his people freedom... They are starving and being punished for just having a thought or opinion.. he is boy with a few toys and wants so badly for the world to respect him but if he would step down people we respect him more.

Shithole with leftovers from the days of dictators. They need to be dismantled, because they are like a dangerous doom cult waiting to bring about the end.

I personally believe that the military control North Korea and that Kim Jong Un is just a scapegoat. The military are built on denial and won't budge from their tactic of trying to look strong to get help. It's a strategy that doesn't work and I'm sure that Kim Jong Un knows that. He's just a fat kid who likes basketball. I don't think he's evil. He's just trapped.

If North Korea opened up then it'd fix itself fast. I'm sure it would have a huge economic boom like Japan, China and South Korea went through. I'm sure the world would love to help the place if it wasn't threatening to nuke everybody. A fresh start and a huge amount of potential for business would be good for the place. Of course, I believe it would be best if they became a democracy in doing so rather than doing what china did - but then again I love my freedom so I would say that.
