I just ordered this

Now I know the actual release date for this item is in March, my concern is that Crunchyroll's "release date" of April 30th seems like an obvious placeholder. I don't normally order from this site, but due to the scarcity of this figure I had no choice but to try your store again. I say "again" because the last time I tried to order a figure here (the Phat Hibiki Ganaha figure) I waited for close to two months past your guys' listed release date and my item NEVER shipped and I NEVER got any kind of update on the status of my order. When I contacted your support nobody could tell me when I was going to receive my order and quite frankly I lost my patience and ended up demanding a refund and cancellation. I ended up finding that same figure on another site almost immediately.

I really just don't want a repeat of my last experience here.

Apologies about the Ganaha figure. I know it's not a good excuse but I think it was a bit of growing pains for that. I sincerely apologize though.


Currently, there have been a lot of delays since the LA Ports are on strike and it's hindering our ability to get this in time now. As for Mami-chan, we are going to receive it and ship to you. As long as Bandai releases it on time we should get it in time for that release date. Of course, various constraints such as production delays, labor strikes, and other things might adjust that release.

Thank you for the reply! Really it wasn't just the wait that made me cancel last time, it was the lack of communication. I would have been willing to wait longer if I had been getting kept up to date on why there were delays and what the situation was. If delays happen with Mami any information you guys can pass along to keep myself and anyone else who ordered her in the loop would be much appreciated!

I've been realizing that it's hard to contact customers for delays as most figures have some sort of production delay in any cycle (Why do I even try...). So that's why I've started to roam around forums for posts like yours where you have questions on arrivals. I hope this alleviates any concerns on it, and I hope Mami-chan comes out on time T_Tb
