Drinking distilled water is not lethal, but it's not all that great for you long term and can lead to health problems unless the minerals have been redissolved into it.

To be honest, the flavor is rarely an incentive for me to choose one brand over another. I go about based on the prices since water tastes approximately the same everywhere unless it's tainted or flavored.

Buy a filter and throw tap water on it.

Since water is the ONLY thing I drink, I'm going with the one with the highest alkaline level...so usually Crystal Geyser Bottled Water.

I never have drunk tap water/from the sink. It's just one of things I don't do.
In terms of bottle water I get Dasani water .

At the end of the day I'll never not drink water based on brand.

I always have loved Volvic water. I thing most of the store brand stuff tastes awful. My Dad thinks I'm crazy but he smoked for years so I assume his taste buds are dulled to the point that he can't tell the difference between the two.

I find Volvic the best too. Due to food allergies and a new purification processing plnt I can't drink my local tap water so I buy all different types of bottled waters for thier varied tastes. Despite what some people like to claim water doesn't all just taste like water . The different minerals in the different springs make the tastes vary.

I like my filtered tap water that comes chilled out of my fridge

I'd rather just buy a water filter and do it myself, since most bottled water comes from municipal sources anyway, and it's probably cheaper.

I drink this one usually

I usually prefer Aquafina. It tends to do better at warmer temperatures tastewise. I've had Fiji and Voss too. Never really could get the point of "artisan water" but the bottle on that Voss I bought was sure neat.

I still get quite a bit of my water from the tap though, bit it depends. My area has a lot of hard water around it so the calcium deposits on the sinks become noticable after awhile.

I buy whatever gallon is the cheapest at the store. That gallon gets me through the day with plenty to spare, and I refill it from the tap. I've never bothered to spend the money on that fancy water, and I probably wouldn't be able to taste the difference.

Water drawn from a river or lagoon, boiled in a pot, and poured fresh into my hollowed out coconut cup. I'm actually communicating with this forum using an Etch-a-Sketch I modified with a clothes hanger, some string, and parts of a broken satellite phone. Oh, and if someone could send a notice to merchant ships or a national navy, I'd sure appreciate being picked up. I've run out of rum.

The only thing I hear about being environmentally friendlier is eliminating the use of plastic bags and soon bottles to reusable containers.
