I finally got a response , a generic one again . They also keep dodging my question why we still don't have HD , it was part of my complaint .

I cannot believe we've gone about a month with no streaming service to our TVs. I swear I will suffer through ads and just watch from my laptop for free. This is ridiculous. I just donated $7.99 to crunchyroll, because I damn sure didn't get what I paid for. We don't even KNOW what exactly is going on. When I asked directly for an update, all I got was a generic response. F*&$ that. I'll just watch from Hulu and whatever they don't have in their catalog, I'll watch from another site. This is some bullshit.

TO REITERATE:

The Crunchyroll app on my Samsung Bluray player is not working either. PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!


I sent a updated e-mail with the above picture to Crunchyroll Support but I've yet to get a response.

Update:
Its been a month, still no correspondence nor is it fixed. WTF!!! This isn't what I pay you for. Get your sh*t together Crunchyroll and fix this!
I also think you should give EVERYONE that posted in this thread some form of compensation for the money they spent for services not received.

I cannot yet give you an update on the situation. I know that our developers are looking into the issue, but at this point there is no ETA available for the fix. Sorry about that.

As soon as I get an update that I can share with you, I will do so.

Just felt I ought to add - didn't really feel I could ask for any compensation/free month because I am technically getting add free and all that but like others, I completely only pay for my tv service. My internet-laptop relationship is not a great one (tried sitting next to the router and watching on 480p and still got buffering, kinda killed that episode of Your Lie in April) and if I was going to watch on a laptop anyway then I'd just watch the ads, no big deal. I actually only started using crunchyroll in the first place because we bought a new tv and I saw the app and free trial on it!

Regarding feedback, I did happen to get a reply from customers services, but they didn't really say much, just that they're working on it. Which is fair enough, I guess there's not a lot else they can do. Just wish we had some kind of idea about how long it might take or, if it is just this upgrade, can't they just put the old app back up while they fix the problems with the new one? : /

You know what fix this problem? Downgrading the app. Using CR 1.1.1 with no problem at all, but when I install CR 1.1.2 it get those issues. Works for both my Samsung Galaxy S3 and my Galaxy tab 3.

Is there a way to downgrade the app on a samsung smart tv??

The CR app is the only thing that won't work on my tv, and since my PS3 died I have no other way to watch. This is getting extremely frustrating, and I'm not sure why I'm still paying for Crunchyroll when I haven't been able to use it for the past month.

Only works on my iPad, it's been a month so far and no fix!? I enjoy watching it on my tv and my phone because it is more convenient and discreet while on the go or relaxing at home. It's funny because my subscription came out for this month on time but I still haven't got a response from customer service. A month without working paid for service is a big deal, a 50 percent off to the crunchyroll store would make up for it seeing as I just dropped 200 bucks there last week. Just saying.....

Ps3, ps4 , phone and kindle fire all work fine. Ive noticed my samsung tablet stopped working after the last update. Please fix soon, i rather use my tablet then the Kindle fire to watch CR

Already canceled mine. Im not sure ill come back without some sort of compensation for the month or so i was forced to watch on a 15" screen vs a 46" screen.

I admit, this is getting rather irksome now, I've lost track of how long I haven't been able to watch on my tablet now but it's around a month. I can only really watch it on my tablet because, come the night, my mum uses the laptop and I watch anime at night after doing my university work in the day.

Honestly I'll probably have to re-watch a few episodes of a few series as well as the ones I've missed. Probably take me a month to get up to date as it is now.
