oh yeah~!! i have a new one~!!

a man is on the other side of a river with his duck, fox and a bag of corn... he needs to get across... but the boat he has is only big enough for him and one of his posessions.....

problem:
if he brings the fox, the duck will eat the corn
if he brings the corn, the fox will eat the duck

how can he cross the river safely with all his 3 possesions??

tie the fox to a tree, take the corn, tie the duck to the boat b/c it can swim then go across the river

Ok...then you have to bring the duck first, since if you bring either of the other two, they'll eat the other one (weird sentence). So duck first then bring the fox, but when going back bring the duck again with you (is that allowed?). On the third trip to the other side take the corn after leaving the duck back in the initial side. So corn and fox are together on the other side. Lastly come back and bring the duck. Does that work? Im not sure if we're allowed to take things back and forth like that

Well technically it wasn't as I needed clarification on whether we could go back and forth with the items.

Oh this one's simple:

Bring the duck, leave the duck. Go back, get the corn, pass, leave the corn and get the duck, return, leave the duck in the first place, and get the Fox and leave the Fox, so you'll have this: Duck's alone, and you're with the Fox and the Corn, they don't like each other so they won't eat each other, go back, get the duck, and voila.

Ahaks, this is a flashgame I played b4......Actually, that is correct....

he takes the duck 1st
goes back
takes the fox and he takes the duck back with him so only the fox is across
he then takes the corn across
then he goes back and gets the duck
