Welcome fellow Christian Anime fans. My name is Matt and I'll be your moderator here. Feel free to tell us a little about yourself here.

I'll start:
I'm Matt. I'm an Evangelical Christian from the Baltimore area. I'm a happily married Dad with 4 wonderful children ages 5 (nearly 6), 3 (nearly 4), and twin 7 month olds. In fact, they are 7 months old today! Wow. I've been saved by the grace of Christ since I was 19 years old and can, if asked, discuss my salvation story in more detail. I attend a tiny church with a great heart for Christ outside of Baltimore City.

How about you?

Hello I'm Clayton( call me Clay). I'm a Christian that lives in Virginia. I'm a first year college student at a University. I will be majoring in film in order to become a Director and Screen Writer. I love to write stories and reviews. I was saved at the age of 5 and baptized at the age of 12. I rededicated my life to God at the age of 17. I am a member of a small Baptist church, but I'll be honest and say I do not always go. I am looking for a church that I feel at home at. I also question and challenge my beliefs for the simple fact of wanting to understand and learn more and more. So if I ask some peculiar questions or play devil's advocate that is why.

By all means, feel free to play devil's advocate. But don't advocate for that bad guy too much

Welcome aboard.

This still being an open forum in the "wild west" of the Internet, I'm going to just stick with my username. I'm a dad too with a 2.5 year old and a one year old. My wife will occasionally watch an anime with me, but she's not really that interested in it. I came to Christ (or rather He intervened greatly in my life and drew me to Him) at the age of 23 while in medical school. Much of my growth has been with small independent Bible churches, though we now attend a somewhat large (few hundred in a service) Southern Baptist church here in Reno, NV.

I imagine there must be more than 13 Christians among the Crunchyroll population, but it doesn't surprise me too much that there would be very few Christians overall. Nonetheless, God is still God here on CR as anywhere else, and it's good that He be represented here too in some manner amidst an otherwise very non-Christian or post-Christian world. It's but a small gesture, but I'm joining this group if just to step forward to stand for Him here.

It's good to shine the light for Christ everywhere we are. Welcome aboard.

My name isn't important right now, but I am a 19 year old in Texas. I always have a hard time with denominations (because I never reeeeeeeeally payed attention to differences ) but I think I'm mostly Baptist. Saved since I was a wee lad I've been seeing Christ work in my life in small ways since he became a part of it. I also enjoy devil's advocacy, but can argue for the Christian side of things. Some of my reasoning is a bit ... Out of the box on some things, but the way I see if, that helps me defend Christianity in newer ways.

Hi, my name is Charles, and like some of y'all, I'm married with a couple of young children. And as with Canobeans, I'm a Texan. I'm active with the small group and college ministries at my church, which is Southern Baptist and attended by mostly Asian-Americans. I'm also the editor of Beneath the Tangles, an aniblog that I would say primarily uses anime as a means to discuss Christianity.

Yo everyone! My name is (ironically) Christian. I am 20 years of age, single, and a graduate as of May 2014 from Liberty University Online. I have been a Christian most of my life accepting Him at the age of 5. I live in Oklahoma, I am an active part of my church, I sponsor at a community wide youth group called K-Life (you might have a chapter around your town), and I am looking for Ministry opportunities namely a Youth ministry if possible around my home. I have also been an anime fan since the beginning lol! My dad would watch shows like Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho with me at an age I can't remember, but the anime Spice and Wolf is what got me hooked about 6-7 years back. Well that about sums it up if you have any questions I would be glad to answer them! Also thank you for having this group!!!

Hi! I'm not as old as you guys I guess but I'm a Christian (Presbyterian if you want to break it down). I'm in Missouri but I shouldn't say more than that because *internet .* I started watching anime right after I started learning Japanese, because I figured it would be a fun way to be exposed to the language, and now I'm sliiiiiightly obsessed.

Salutations! My name's Jenny and I'm from Canada. I was raised in a Christian home though, like many, I didn't come to a deeper understanding of my faith or an intimate relationship with God until University, where I majored in Linguistics and English Literature. I honestly hadn't ever watched anime (a couple Pokémon movies and anime inspired shows like ATLA aside) until October 2014, so I'm a bit of a newbie. It's been interesting navigating the sea of shows and films, especially finding anime with themes that interact with my faith. Anyhow, I look forward to being a part of this group and getting to know you all!

Howdy! My name's Jeff, and I'm probably going to be the old geez of the group, but that's OK - I'm used to it!

I was saved by the Grace of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at the ripe old age of 5. I was brought up in a non-denominational, Bible-teaching church, whose Pastor/Teacher was none other than my Dad. That's right - look out...he's a PK (preacher's kid)!

I've been a fairly serious anime fan for about 25 years now, and I've been able to successfully bring my wife of 3.5 years into the anime camp along with the rest of us.

Glad to see there are others of like faith here! Thanks for starting this group, Matt, and I'm happy to be here.
