What is my favorite color?

Some people might try and be fancy and say Favourite colour, but i am not a hipster and will not write it like that. On to the favorite color part, i would say but i cannot pin point one specific color to choose as my favorite. if i had to i would sy it was a sapphire color. If you think about it though, sapphire, is not just a blue color it can be a wide arrange of colors, you can find Yellow, Green , Orange, pink even Red sapphires. However a red sapphire would be called a ruby, but only depending on how red the sapphire is. If the sapphire isnt a certain minimum quality of rub, like to light-colored it will not be considered a "Ruby" just a pink sapphire. Some people think Rubies and Sapphires are two different gemstones, but they are not they are both made from formation of a mineral known as corundum. the difference isthe elements that seep into the mineral corundum, the typical Ruby has significant traces of chromium giving it the red hue. The gemstones themselves are very hard, the only natural occurring stones that have a greater hardness than a sapphire is moissanite and of course diamonds. Looking at the "Mohs scale of mineral hardness" something like glass, which is typically made out of silica, has a greater hardness than iron, so technically because iron is softer than glass something like keys should not scratch your phones screen because the glass is a bit harder than iron, but glass has a very rigid structure which is its downfall. Iron though softer has a lot more give than the rigid glass and due to force (of impact) iron can scratch and break glass, just how water can cut through iron. Sapphire is significantly more hard than both iron and glass though its rigid it will not shatter like glass, but has the ability to "truly" scratch glass because of its greater hardness. On another note, labs have been able to create artificial sapphires that are no different than the naturally occurring ones that nature takes possibly millions of years to make, but the only difference is the lab sapphires are flawless and natural ones are flawed. So this means lab ones are more valuble? No. Natural sapphires are far more valuable than lab sapphires mainly because of their rarity. Even though the mineral compound is the same in lab and natural sapphires its supply and demand that determine the costs. lab sapphires take fractions of a fraction the time it takes nature to make a sapphire and its flawlessness cannot make up for that.

long story short i guess you can say blue, maybe red. idk if i have a favorite color honestly.

Tough question.

I don't really have a "favorite color". It's a battle between dark shades of green, brown, ivory, white and black. My favorite color combinations are black with dark green or ivory, sometimes brown. I generally prefer dark shades of any color.

Speaking of color preferences, one thing that's always bothered me is the terrible selection of color designs in running shoes.

Why do running shoes have such bad tastes? At least in most stores, the only available colors are rainbow and fluro types. These colors have deterred me from purchasing any running shoes for years. Are black or white running shoes too much to ask for? I would purchase online, but the process of finding the correct shoe size is a bother, especially when you're as impatient as myself. If it's for the sake of attracting attention at night, running with a candle strapped around my head sounds much more desirable.

And that is my story of why I stopped running.

I'm guilty of posting blown out replies and just typing way too much in general.

As someone who types 114 WPM with no mistakes on average I get easily carried away and it doesn't feel like I'm typing as much as I am. Surely others who type on the faster side experience this too.

As for my answer to the question: red, black, gold and white.

have you ever thought of competing. most competitions rank best with an avg of 111 wpm. my best is 94 with almost no error, but thats with complete focus. I average at 60 irl though with a handful of errors though. i tried ranting but it appears that i am completely bored and also realize that i need to stop procrastinating.

anywho, everyone rants when the topic is right. even i can do it. even though i typed about a paragraphs worth i thought of maybe 6 paragraphs worth but gave up on it.

I remember when I was a kid that my favorite color was green due to being a green ranger fan.

Now favorites are black, blue, and red all over.
