So I tested my Wi-Fi and discovered I can only watch 720p videos, but will selecting that in my personal settings change that on the app? I think there should be an option in-app to change the quality of the video you're watching. I really don't want HD, my internet can't handle it, and I don't mind the quality I'm watching it at now.

Also, for the app to adjust the quality of the video based on the bandwidth I have available is an absolute must. I'm not the only one using the Wi-Fi here, but after three weeks of not being able to use crunchyroll, I downloaded chiefnoah's adaptive apk which does adjust to the bandwidth, and it's working flawlessly. So I guess what I'm saying is that it would solve the issues a lot of people are experiencing.

Anyways if I were 'you' I'd read this forum and download the adaptive one

Yeah, it's a pity the official app never add a feature for video quality adjustments. I don't generally tend to have a problem on my Wifi using the app, but certainly if you're somewhere where the connection speeds aren't on par then you can change it to optimize best playback. I never understood why they never gave this option for the various CR apps like they do to web player.

It is something I definitely need to be able to continue using crunchyroll in the future. I want to now if this going to be available soon, because without this feature I will have to cancel my subscription. Making the streaming adaptive to the bandwidth is probably the solution to the stuttering and out of sync streams other subscribers who are using the cr app are experiencing.

I would like an official quality adjustment in the mobile app. I pay for premium and have a note 4 so streaming on cellular works great but I would like the ability to choose a lower bandwidth stream on cellular data.

Yeah I only use the crunchyroll app for Android on my tablet, and something like that would be great.
