I just got word that two of my favorite anime/manga reviewers, Sawyer7Mage and CodeProvider, got their Youtube accounts terminated for "spamming", even though all they're doing is reviews! This is an unjustified action that I will not stand for. Please help get their Youtube channels back by signing the forms below:

lol.. Youtube did the same kind of shit to DouchebagChocolat a few weeks back. He got his youtube account back within a week.

I was actually really pissed off, and I think a LARGE number of people emailed youtube about it.

He got it terminated and they didn't even list the reason.

I think I have seen alot of Sawyers video's so I hope he gets reinstated. Youtube is turning into a communist website.

Let me introduce everything to the horrible thing known as YT Bots. These bots do seemingly stupid things for extremely stupid, or no reason.

YT Really needs to fix the way that they do the account management.

Then again, let's face it. It wont happen

Sounds like the animu companies are at it again, automatically taking down anything with their content even if its fairly used. Woop woop. Sigh.

No, seriously, screw Youtube's automatic system and their appeals. If you appeal, it goes directly to the company, and if the company rejects your appeal, the video remains down.

Most of the time the companies do not comply with fair use regulations at all, and refuse to let the user's video go back up, or it takes many tries to convince them to do so. One of my favs on YouTube does music / lyric analysis's and he's had multiple beefs involving Warner refusing to put up his videos again because it contains their musical tracks: even if they're used fairly. I also watch an anime reviewer whose account was almost terminated because of anime companies not allowing him to use their content for review, and he was forced to switch some of his content to Vimeo.

I remember the good old days of YT when reviewers could do what they want, and official Youtube accounts werent VEVO channels. When anime was posted to Youtube and never taken down. All before Google integrated with the site and turned it into Coroporate Hell.

Also, Germany has GEMA, which is the worst of the worst. Try to find any suitable videos containing music tracks on German Youtube. Half of the site is blocked because of GEMA. If there's one place almost all specified videos with copyrighted audio tracks will be blocked in, it'll be Germany.

They did the same thing to Misty Chronexia a couple weeks ago. He mentioned a few others it happened to a few months back also. Youtube needs humans in there somewhere, the all "Borg" approach isn't working at all.
