Do you find some of your culture's food boring? Sometimes when you eat the same foods over and over again, it starts to get boring. I can't go into many local restaurants without feeling full on the 3rd bite because it tastes so much like home cooking. Not that I hate it, it's just that I didn't pay for home cooking.

No since my culture has a variety of mixes. We've got Indian, Chinese, African, Carib, European and Syrian dishes that everyone cooks and eats regardless of their particular ancestry.

I'm never really sick of my culture's food. Especially since my grandma makes everything so damn good. There's a huge variety of stuff so it's hard to get tired of it. You're not technically eating the same food every day, and it has been influenced by lots of other cultures.

Taiwanese hot pot and braised pork is so good. Then, there's those stewed meatballs and Taiwanese sausage made with medicinal herbs. And fusion styles that use stuff like those meatballs and sausages on pizza. There's also Taiwanese style tamago kake gohan, which my grandma taught me to make as an easy breakfast food (lard with fried sun-dried shallots, raw egg yolks, rice, Taiwanese soy sauce). I've been eating this for breakfast for as long as I can remember. I also learned to make a Taiwanese-style teppanyaki, sukiyaki, and various katsu dishes.
