So what's your opinion, guys?

Smash bros, for a game about having fun. You have a bunch of people yelling about pointless stuff. And criticizing other people,as-well as just being overall toxic.

Though there are some good apples in the mix. :p

Final Fantasy fans who do nothing but hate on final fantasy are kind of an obnoxious lot. Square isn't perfect, and there are FF games I don't particularly like (FF8, hated FF12's battle system) etc but at least they do try to make a different game and not the same old same old with every game.

Halo fans who whine about every little change. I'm actually a long time Halo fan myself it's pretty frustrating that a large portion of the fan base seems intent on keeping the developers from trying new things.

That should explain why Halo fans are immature, most of the time.

LoL community

As a long time Dota player, i must say i am probably a bit biased even if i think i am not. I just feel like LoL community is more rigid and more toxic when it comes to breaking the meta. Almost every single game i played on LoL is always top solo, bot carry+support duo. Deviate from that and comes the raging, and angry player ranting about how it ruins the game before the game even starts. Play an underused or recently nerfed champion ? Your teammate reports you for not using the "strong" heros. Before Ahri got super popular thanks to pros like Faker Senpai, i had been using her all the time as my usual mid champ and players complains because i don't use other o might mid heroes. Then Faker shows how strong she can be and suddenly everyone is playing her despite complaining she is weak like 1 week before the pros shows that she is in fact extremely strong. Then the laning calling norms that the LoL community developed is pretty bad in my opinion. I had seen players rage quit, intentionally feeds because they can't get their preferred lanes or champion even through many of their playstyle or roles can be filled by other champs who can accomplish the similar thing.

In LoL, your own team mates can be your enemy starting right from the champ selection screen.

Sure Dota have elements of those too, but at least in my opinion. It is a lot more flexible both laning and hero selection. Sure some heros are considered weak but Dota players know they can get the job done if the player is competent. Earth Spirit the most underused hero in the game and i hadn't seen a single player getting mad at the Earth Spirit pickers during hero selection.

Gamers in general.

If you can't do, play. If you can't play, criticize.

Call of Duty all day, every day.

90% of the game's population are toxic. However I find them entertaining.

This. Even the series creator has gone out of his way to say, "Look, guys, this is a party game. Don't forget to have fun." And yet the rage continues.

Can I just say console fanboys. Especially the PS4 ones nowadays after The Order 1886 bombed. People going around justifying game length with collectables and hating on completely unrelated games to draw attention away. No worries though, because the small but strong Vita fanbase makes up for that. Xbox One fanboys, meh, they don't bother me to much because they aren't saying stuff tooooooooo farfetched (although obviously pretty farfetched claims are being made). PC Master Race people, well I don't like the ones that just boast about how amazing and expensive their PC rig is. No wonder so many console players think PC is for rich people only.

Outside of that:

- FF7 fanboys who hate every other FF
-LoL community in general, but also the guys that just disregard every other MOBA or game in general because all they care for is LoL
- CoD, no explanation required
- Battlefield fanboys who argue that BF is realistic compared to CoD even though you got people slamming C4-filled jumps into jets. Even the devs agree the game is just pure craziness and randomness and have adjusted Hardline to be just that.
- western gaming "fanbase" (not really what you'd call it) who hate on Japanese games without it ever occuring to them that they've been playing Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Mario, etc, etc, etc for decades.

...Most? I can't think of a single gaming community where the good outweighed the bad. Maybe I've just had poor luck interacting with people.

Most of the fighting game community is bad because of how divisive it is. "Anime fighter" fans are the most harmless people in the world, yet they get crapped on by the guys who play Street Fighter and other "real" fighting games.

There's also Kingdom Hearts because that parking lot video exists XD
