Because it's fast. Not really cheap, though.

I used to get it because it was faster. but I hate the taste and quality of it. I do not cook, so now I just order in advance at restaurants. The 10-20minutes wait for actual food is a sacrifice I was willing to make over the quality of fast food. I used to eat McDonalds and now I shudder at the thought.

When I do is because of convenience and laziness. It'll never taste better than my home cooking.

My time on this earth is too long, I want to shorten it.
Nah, it actually does taste good, even if I understand it's garbage for my body. It's there and I am lazy. While I am still young I can eat it more often than I can when I am older and my metabolism begins to slow.

I usually eat it for taste and for the fact that it's a meal I don't have to worry about. Just fed and done.

I know very well that it's unhealthy, but I don't really care too much. o.o I don't eat it constantly. I'm still really thin and healthy by the standards of most medical professionals. In moderation I think it's fine. I do know people who constantly resort to eating fast food instead of home cooked meals though. That's not good.

I only eat it when I don't feel like cooking.

I dont eat fast food, or rather, very rarely. Mostly they're just inexpensive and quick snacks.

I mostly go for fast food simply because I'm either too lazy to cook or for convenience, especially when I have coupons.

Haha, true, it's not really cheap anymore! A BK can easily get close to £10 here, which is the price of a meal in a budget restaurant/Gastropub type place. It does pretty much come down to convenience at the end of the day.

I don't really, the only fast food is I'll order a prepackaged salad or something for lunch for lunch. I will get Shrimp Tacos every now and then as takeout but thats from a retauraunt so doesn't really count.

However if there was a fast food sushi place I would eat that all the time if I didn't die from it because fast food sushi doesn't seem reliable.
But I don't eat meat so no burgers or anything for me my ex-gf and recent bf other it tohugh especially like a Hardees (carl Jr's) and that bleeds me dry because that is the most expensive fastfood place I ever go it drains my bank acount like nothing else. (Well ok not really drains it but damn it cost me way more than smoking does weekly)

$20 for a pizza that last all day ok but $25-30 for like a combo 1 meal at Hardees uuugh.

Though there is the place around called Pizza Shack that makes the most amazing over expensive Pizza's ever but damn are they worth it.

I try to avoid it. I'm very picky and paranoid, it's likely to have something (even if it seems insignificant) that I wouldn't like.

People always say it is cheap. But that just isn't the case. Eating at a fast food place for a family of four is going to be $20. I have several meals that I prepare that are nearly half that cost, and we will have leftovers for my wife to take for lunch the next day. Even if we compare the meals straight up, home cooked is cheaper.

A pound of ground beef is $4, I bake my own bread but I think a pack of buns is a bit over $2. A small bag of potatoes is ~$2. Add a head of lettuce and a tomato for another $3, and enjoy a salad on the side in addition to garnishing your burger. Add in the fractional cost of any condiments you have in the fridge and you are sitting just over $12.

^ this (even though I live in the UK, I can agree)

Some places offer healthier ( still not healthy) alternatives in their food. Like low carb burgers at Hardees I don't know if it's good because I don't eat meat but I have seen people order them before.

Convenience.

That's why it's called fast food.
Posted 2/22/15
it's cheaper than healthy ones... I mean... a large coke costs less than a bottled water...

it's fast and tastier.

Because it taste good. I have low standards when it comes to food. Some people call it shit taste.
