Used to eat it when I was much younger, early teens, because that's the only damn place my parents would drive me! >_> At least they fed me, right? Now I absolutely REFUSE to eat it. Straight up will just not eat and substitute a meal with a lot of water, whatever snack that isn't chips or sugar filled to tie me over until whenever I can find a good meal. Hm, I sound high maintenance... well they do say "you are what you eat".

Edit- If you're wondering why I don't eat it, preservatives, antibiotic, farming conditions of all meat veggies, and oats(I.E pesticides and all kinds of chemicals, feeding cows/chicken genetically modified corn and keeping them caged all of that bullshit only implemented to give people more manageable jobs.), the amount of fat(trans fat) that they put in their food literally gives you a "high" to that of a intense dopamine release therefore literally getting you addicted not to mention the health risk of the food in general, now wanting to eat it more and justifying eating it[addiction]? Not a good combo. I honestly keep away from all alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, and attempt to minimize sugar as much as possible but dammit sometimes I just want some cookie cake for my birthday, and you know.... anybody else's birthday, halloween, valentines day, and christmas. Lol okay I could eat cookie cake everyday if I was a more active "baker". As you can imagine I buy organic food as well. I however to indulge in other kinds of ways I just thought I'd give you guys an in detail reason as to why you should think about staying away from fast food. If that's just one of your few indulgences then no worries, just be smart about your health. Wouldn't want to hear about anybody in this community getting hurt

I would say convenient has a lot to do with it and I would say price fast food is relatively cheap all the way round and being to lazy to cook

Sometimes I just feel like eating it. I'll be walking home and think, "Hey, I kind of want french fries and ice cream," so I go and get it.

No idea why people are making excuses as if it's such a bad thing to eat it. You're like little kids who got in trouble with mom... "I only... because... blah blah..." It's kind of funny.

I cant cook. So i eat out like everyday for either lunch or dinner, but not both. Usually something 'healthy' as far as fast food goes, like subway, or just 1 hamburger instead of 3 and then snack at home. I really need to find a cute girlfriend with a great personality who can cook and preferably likes either anime or games.
Wait, what do you mean that will never happen?

I used to eat so much fast food before. Like, all day if I could. But, now I just eat it because it's convenient or if I crave it. Some of the fast food places just aren't healthy. It's all oily and it always never looks like the ones on TV, also the workers tend to screw up orders some times. But, I can't blame them.

Homemade burgers are way more tastier and a lot more juicier. Also, you can make them yourself.

..........................Now I want a burger.

i don't, but my guess is Because it's fast and cheap

People always say it is cheap. But that just isn't the case. Eating at a fast food place for a family of four is going to be $20. I have several meals that I prepare that are nearly half that cost, and we will have leftovers for my wife to take for lunch the next day. Even if we compare the meals straight up, home cooked is cheaper.

A pound of ground beef is $4, I bake my own bread but I think a pack of buns is a bit over $2. A small bag of potatoes is ~$2. Add a head of lettuce and a tomato for another $3, and enjoy a salad on the side in addition to garnishing your burger. Add in the fractional cost of any condiments you have in the fridge and you are sitting just over $12.

you forget little things like the herbs/spices, and more importantly the oil to fry it in, and perhaps more than anything else, the time to cut potatoes and cook it all.

I personally almost never get fast food for myself, but a lot of times I do somehow end up eating fast food.
Most of the times I eat fast food are because I am out with friends and they want to get something quick & cheap to eat, at these times I am generally forced to eat something by them buying me something, otherwise I just sit and watch. Or, my mom brings home fast food because she has been working all day and would rather not cook. The only times I actually buy fast food for myself is when I am truly desperate to get something to eat, but don't have the time to spare.

I NEVER go to McDonalds though, their "meat" makes me sick (literally) and their "chicken" grosses me out.
The main fast food joints I am guilty of are Taco Bell, Checkers, and Subway. Subway and Checkers are literally across the street from me, so it is almost unavoidable.

What qualifies as fast food? If we're talking Burger King, McDonald's, Jack-in-the-Box, Taco Bell, or Runza. Then, I almost never eat at any of those places. They are vile. But Subway, Jimmy John's, Culver's, and Panera are all rather fast, and they all taste like food to me.

I haven't learned to cook legitimate meals and my Mom picks up takeout often for convenience. It's usually Togo's or L&L bbq. Sometimes Domino's. I like it and I don't feel sick after eating it.
