Yeah, they suck. Had my first one today. Fortunately, not my fault. I'm basically okay, but my leg is definitely sore. Some scraps and bruises, but no broken bones or the like.

How about you?

I've been in a few. Thankfully, none were too serious and only one was with my own car.

The worst one strained my neck a bit. I couldn't stop trembling and my neck was intermittently sore for a few weeks. No more pain now.

Same. The adrenaline took a while to wear off.

I've wrecked a motorcycle at the track. Never on the road on a bike, or in a car. But my cousin's wife was in a wreck yesterday. Dude on his phone slammed his Tahoe into the back of her car when she was waiting at an intersection. Hit her doing 45, didn't even touch his brakes.

Nearly had three today. Someone nearly smashed me in the ass for not breaking earlier in this horrible weather and two people on both sides of my car nearly hit me for hogging the road. People piss me off in winter...

Yes, at race tracks though mainly. If you race and don't get into accidents then your probably aren't racing hard enough. Don't worry though i've only rolled 5 times in 9 years.

As for on the road. No, not yet at least, since i've only had my permit for a month or so. Last week I almost got in one because some one crashed and spun towards me, and I may or may not have been half asleep at the wheel but I just slowed and went around like nothing. I feel like I should be traumatized by that, but i've been in racing long enough that i don't even care if i'm in an accident. I'll probably be more pissed off than scared.

I got t-boned with a friend last year. Some idiot pretty much ran a stop light. Nothing serious for me, fortunately, just heavy bruising. But my friend broke his leg. I thought he was dead, too, because he was passed out. He passed out because he had a panic attack. I also had a panic attack. It was a horrible day then, but we laugh about it now. ... Especially at the fact that I thought he died.

I also got in a small one a few years back with my dad. He scraped pretty hard against this car while turning. Check your blind spots, mmmkay.

I drive a Gundam to work, no chance of a traffic accident, I just kick cars and trucks out of the way.

My mom constantly used to get in accidents when I was a kid.

Worst one she had, I was in fifth grade. My class was volunteering at a food bank as charity work, I was still in private school at the time, she was a chaperone / driver. We were on the way back, and traffic came to a sudden halt. This was back when phones with better texting capabilities were just starting to become a thing, my mom had a phone with one of those fancy slide out keyboards.. I can't remember whether she was texting or talking when she hit the vehicle in front of her, but she hit it, hard, and the entire damn car began to reek of antifreeze. And worse come to worse, she hit a tow truck, a fuckin' tow truck !!!! Luckily, the guy was willing to give us a lift back to the school, albeit for a fee, but god, that was the nastiest accident I'd been in. I'm just glad she had a massive Escalade at the time, because even the front of that thing was extremely mangled, after the crash, if she'd had a smaller car I couldnt have imagined the damage. Either way ,it was ... eugh... and that accident, among others, even smaller ones, discouraged me from driving until I was about 17 years old. My mom is.... a distracted driver, not to mention, a driver who stupidly checks her smartphone all the time and has constant near misses. What's happened to me with her at the wheel has really, really discouraged me from using my phone now when driving.

I've never been in one, but I've witnessed one. A car ran a red light and then was hit from the side. The sound alone scared the living hell out of me. Everyone got out of their vehicles and rushed to help the people involved. It was crazy. Luckily, both people in the accident came out with minor injuries.

If you're in a no fault state then sue. Don't deal with his/her insurance company. Just sue them.

I was in a head-on collision about 2 years ago, a diabetic driver crossed on the center line with no lights going about 60 mph while I was doing 50 mph. Luckily my passenger and I survived.

Edit: I forgot to mention this was around 11:30 PM

Spun on ice once and smashed into a freeway barrier wall. I was fine and my steel box of a car only had a slight dent ['72 Olds Cutlass].
