I'm going to post this in here, since it seems an appropriate place.

Farewell Leonard

It's difficult to assess just how many people you inspired and influenced with your talent, your actions and your life.

As a character.

As an actor.

As a man.

As I was talking to online friends yesterday I gave them this: Do not mourn, but celebrate his life. He will continue to live on in our hearts and minds. And from Mister Nimoy himself.

"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."
- Bashir and Garak

"That's why you came to me, isn't it captain? Because you knew I could do those things that you weren't capable of doing. Well, it worked. And you'll get what you wanted: a war between the Romulans and the Dominion. And if your conscience is bothering you, you should soothe it with the knowledge that you may have just saved the entire Alpha Quadrant, and all it cost was the life of one Romulan senator, one criminal... and the self-respect of one Starfleet officer. I don't know about you, but I'd call that a bargain."
- Garak to Sisko

The Cardies were fun. So was Weyoun. Jeffrey Coombs is a very favorite actor.

Worf was fun. He had some great lines. '(Prune Juice!) A warrior's drink!'

I've admitted that I dai suki Q and love his portrayal by John de Lancie. Q and Worf are hilarious together.

Leaving the obvious main characters from ST:TOS (as they are the best) and to spur on conversation..

I would have to say Sisko, he is such a bad-ass!

Good choices. Jeffrey Combs played Shran to perfection. One of the best characters from Enterprise.

Agreed. One of the reasons I loved DS9 was the fact it showed the Federation was not all Goody Two-Shoes.

Spock is an excellent choice. He was one of a few characters to inspire me in science. The Professor from Gilligan's Island was another, but that is for another thread.
