I never really lived with my parents. They gave me away to some aborigine clan guy in the mountains of Taiwan. My grandparents went to get me back but they would not give me back. Eventually the wife agreed to give me back when her husband was imprisoned. My grandma brought me to the US and adopted me.

I lived with my aunt, grandma, and uncle in my aunt's house. I was 18 when I lived near the university campus for about 5 years before going back home after graduation for about 2 years while helping my uncle with his hotel. I am in San Francisco for school now and I live not too far away.

Well I moved out back in 2012, but them my apartment building had a fire and I had to move out. Still too lazy to look for another one.

I lived on campus while getting my first degree and lived with my parents during the summer breaks, but when I decided to go back to get a second degree I got an apartment which was just after I turned 22. I haven't lived a full year with my parents since I graduated high school and moved into the dorms at 18.

Hopefully by 25...preferably 23 *crosses finger*.

I know people who live with their parents even after they got married with a kid....and that guy is pretty successful. Bad economy? That sounds worst for me

Sadly, I'm still here -_- I can't find a job so I'm going to grad school in Sept hopefully. I honestly hate it and wish I could afford to live on my own, but I try not to complain as I know people who are going through much worse things.

I'm still living with my parents. I pay some of the bills, help with the groceries, etc. My mother can't get around very well so it's been for the best for me to help around the house instead of being on my own and having the (very real) possibility of either hardly scraping by or not getting by at all. Though if everything continues to go well with my boyfriend, I'll probably end up moving out sometime in the near future. My father is retiring this year so I wouldn't feel too bad about leaving my mother alone.

Maybe not relevant, but I still live with my mother.
I am 21, a college student (college is very close to my home) and I work part time. My mom couldn't afford to live alone in this day and age because of her lack of skills to get a good paying job. So, we basically share the bills (own our place, grandma bought it many many years ago). I have no bad feelings about living with my mom, possible because I am not being a burden to her and that I am not just leeching off of her.
Sure, I intend to someday move out. But at this time I feel like I have no reason to. More than likely I will live here till I graduate college and get a good job, so I can eventually support my mom while also living on my own.

I left for university when I was 17. I briefly lived with my parents for about 3.5 months when I was 20 while looking for a new place. I'm 23 now. But I still regularly go over to raid their fridge

And I bet they love it. Most parents are just happy their kid still comes to see them, even if it is just to 'raid their fridge'. :p

hahah absolutely!! I get off work at 7am and my parents' house is between my work and my home. My mom regularly texts me right before 7 and asks me if I want to join her for a cup of tea. Best appreciate them while they're around, right?

When I started college, though I would come back during summer/winter vacations. I've moved out permanently and now have my own place after I graduated college and got a job.

I moved to the university campus when i was 18 and living out on my own right now at 23. I might end up going back home though if I find a job closer to home because it would save me a lot of money lol.

Moved out at 19. FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS. I'm glad I moved out, to be honest. I was sick of all the crap that my mom kept saying to me that I don't do anything. I throw out the garbage, I wash the dishes, I clean up after her lazy bum of a husband, I practically changed my baby sister's diapers and I still get her words thrown at me.

I also moved out because my cousin had offered me to live with her since some of her roommates were moving out and they were leasing out a room. I even transferred to a different college, too. Now I get to do whatever I want. Living away from home is a good feeling. I don't miss being there at all.
