Atlantic Canada

The 10-14 foot snowbanks. Digging my car out every second day. Not being able to see around corners due to ginormous snowbanks. Did I mention the snow yet? Oh, but in the summer, it's sweltering hot and humid.

Awful public transportation. No public transpo between 11pm and 5:30am.
We rarely have any good music shows or cultural events.
Endless issues between the English majority and the French minority, even though we're officially a bilingual province.

Small town syndrome in a growing town. Everyone knows everyone through everyone. Gossip spreads like wildfire.

Multiculturalism and open-mindedness is only just starting to take root here. Racism and homophobia still run high, but the younger generation is thankfully much more open-minded (with the exception of a number of backcountry "hicks.").

Back in Taiwan
-Extremely hot and humid most days...I have to shower at least 3 times a day during the summer
-People drive like maniacs
-Sometimes, food stands are scary
-The buildings are packed way too close together
-I hate when Taiwanese young people try to be into the hip hop culture
-I usually can't find drinking partners that can keep up with me
-I can't drive over there

Near LA
-Super boring nightlife unless I actually drive to LA (takes about half an hour)
-I live with my family near there (super anal traditional Asian family, never have guests over, like to lecture me endlessly, no privacy or space)
-Little to do other than read and eat during the daytime

San Francisco
-Everything is incredibly expensive
-Food is more expensive than in LA and food is generally less tasty
-I'm always at school and don't get to go out much
-I don't know anyone here
-I hate dealing with people on the trains
-People practically squeeze their cars between pedestrians, it's worse than in Taiwan....they'll speed their car through gaps in the lines of pedestrians walking across the street
-People drive SO SLOW on the freeway

Earth.... people complain alot about people but usually don't do something about it.

Sydney, Australia.

Just wish there were more events/activities (sponsored by the local council and advertisers) for people aged between 20-30... idk.... maybe like a once a week sporting competition?? once a month paintball game? or some other things.

I feel like this country caters only to young children... or families.... like during holidays and stuffs, there are tons of activities for little kids... but none for young adults/post-adolescent people...

If you want to do something that is not nightclub/pubs/parties, you have to go out of your way.... or pay a lot of money or you need to have friends... and i feel like... the government should encourage more social activities that's for everyone...

Well I live in Baja California, internet is slow, electronics are expensive and cost about the same to order from outside the country with customs and delivery, and wages are very low. Other than that it's fine, you have a view of the ocean pretty much across the city I live in, weather is nice almost all year, earthquakes are so small I've never actually felt one.

Virginia... It's pretty boring to me since there's nothing to do here. We're also a "right to work" state so that sucks as well.

nova scotia. im sure a lot of ppl would say the weather, but it could be worse. i just wish we had an actual anime convention instead of having to go to new brunswick for one. the things that suck about the whole country and not just this province (for me) are high shipping costs from the states and the exchange rate right now (lol)

also not having as many flavours of poptarts and things like that

Denver;
It's expensive. We rank in the 10 least affordable housing markets; a year ago the median home price was determined as $288k, and it is rising at nearly 10% annually. Recent article about rent increasing at 3x the national average. The average rent on a 2bd is now almost $1500/mo. This is even worse because median income has been stagnant for the past 5 years.

It's crowded. The Denver/Boulder area is over 3.2 million people now. That isn't a lot compared to real cities, but the Denver area just isn't equipped to deal with the rising population. Traffic can be terrible, especially going to and from the mountains. The problem is exacerbated by the completely inadequate public transportation system. While Denver has some nice amenities, they are too small and there aren't enough to keep them from being a mob scene.

It's dirty and dangerous. If you take away the view of the mountains, it is one of the ugliest places on earth. It is windy and dry, so everything is always dingy. There is a brown cloud hanging over the city most days of the year. Our crime rate is nearly double the national average, so while we aren't anywhere near as bad as an East St. Louis, it is a worsening problem.

The worst part is that legal marijuana is accelerating a lot of the problems we have.

In exchange we do get a relatively mild climate, very few cloudy days, and close proximity to a variety of outdoor activities.

Tennessee... The weather sucks but that can be dealt with easily, it's the people here that suck. Just a bunch of racist, big truck driving, tobacco spitting, homophobic rednecks who are just assholes. Oh and there's absolutely nothing to do. The town i live in, which i'm surprised is even a town, is just a post office, and a diner with a gas station built in. And a school, that's it except for minimal 20 minutes away.

South Manitoba Canada.

-40C (which is also -40F) in the dead of winter to +30C (85F) in the summer. Winds in the winter are strong enough that you feel it when you're driving. Murder capital of Canada for numerous years. Backwards city planning. If there's anything else, I don't notice it anymore.

Though I do find it amusing when I got pulled over once in Kentucky, they pulled me over because they thought my Manitoba licence plate was fake.
