He lived long and prospered, yet it's always sad to see unique characters like that pass away.

Good bye mister Spock, may your new journey be as fascinating as your old one.

I'm really really upset by this. I loved Nimoy and never had a chance to meet him despite my huge love for Star Trek. Long before I knew of anime I was a Trekkie, or as Nimoy said, a trekker. Spock is my idol and I have always strived to be like him.

Just telling myself to keep it together -- I cannot let my emotions sway me (not to mention I'm at work!! On my cell no less ) but it's so hard!! I understand spock's struggle. I think most have. Nimoy did such a great job in portraying his character. He was great at other things too, like poetry and writing. Love the man with all my heart .

Two last things: "It's worse than that, Jim. He's dead."

"Live long and prosper."

"He's not really dead as long as we remember him."

Rest in peace good sir. You've earned it.

In the words of kirk: "Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human"

Spock was my favorite star trek character, or at least he was tied with data. whenever I hear a quote I try to imagine Leonard Nimoy as the one saying it, especially the quote "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

I will miss him.

Never got to meet him, unlike most of the other actors and actresses I hold in similar esteem. I wish I had gotten the opportunity. His talent will be missed. I hope his family is at peace with his passing.

Live long and prosper, good sir.

This world will miss you, but we hope your next journey is more, if not as, grand as the last one.
