Related to the whole net neutrality thing.

There's debate on what sort of speeds Europe gets compared to the US...

So if you can, visit a speed site like the following:
http://www.speedtest.net/

and post your results.

I'm in the US. Here's mine:
It's Saturday 10:18 am, so these are not during peak hours.

Typically during peak at home I get 3Mbps.

I would also like to request that if possible you list what you pay (just a rough estimate) since that is another part of this debate of the US paying more for less bandwidth compared to other parts of the world.

To show something at the higher end of the spectrum here in the US here is mine:

This costs about $200+ but it also include phone and TV (note I only pay for 75/75).

Good point. My home's 3Mbps, costs me about $64 with the mandatory phone line charge that my provider packages it with.

My connection seems to be slower than usual at the moment, so here's a test from November:

This is € 62 (~$70) and includes TV with 156 channels, phone with unlimited calls to other landlines, and 2 cell phones with 2000 calls and 2000 SMS per month.

That's about £32 a month ($50)

It's on BT though which is the most expensive provider in the UK but that's Unlimited Internet, Phone Line, and Unlimited Evening and Weekend Calls.

I would say it goes up to 40+ but there's about 5 of us using the internet atm.

Also i'm only in a small town so annoyingly I can't get City Speeds =P
