Hey guys! I consider myself somewhat new to the anime world. With this said, I've seen/watching Shiki(Never before have I felt depressed and scared at the same time with a show), Attack on Titan, Parasyte, Death Note,Akame Ga Kill, Tokyo Ghoul, Deadman Wonderland, Another, High School of the Dead, and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. I know I haven't even made a dent into the anime world, but I am hungry for me. After finishing the whole season of Fate/Stay Night, I NEEDED more haha. So many eye/eargasms... I was wondering if there were any anime that are up to par with Fate/Stay? And by this I mean, high quality animation, epic soundtrack, and nice story. I want to be glued to the screen, basically. If anyone could come up with suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Fate/Stay Night (2006) the one by studio DEEN? Though the animation sucks, haha. Fate/Zero if you did not watch that one yet too.

Sword Art Online if you want high quality animation and epic soundtrack. Guilty Crown as well. Also, Aldnoah.Zero, Gargantia, Psycho Pass, Steins;Gate, Madoka Magica, and From the New World.

Can't believe I forgot this one! Add this to your to-watch list as well, topic-creator!

Oh, you're gonna get the Fate crowd on your ass for that one Whether or not someone who has just watched the first cour of Fate/stay night should watch Fate/Zero is such a huge topic, you could write essays on it and we have enough people on these forums, who'd actually want to do that.

Anyway, I am gonna recommend Psycho-Pass as well as Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis. Maybe Mirai Nikki even, if you are looking for a show with a Battle Royal theme, similar to Fate.

Meh, plenty of people have watched Zero before the others. I'm new to Fate as well. Just watched the 2006 DEEN one and I'm half way through Zero now. /shrugs

Just be careful, you're playing with fire here

Back on Topic: TE should watch some Gurren Lagann. Why? Because it's awesome. And if that one isn't enough for you to be glued to your seat, you have a serious problem.

Here's some of my recommendations, animes with good art quality

Kara no Kyōkai (film series) by Ufotable (Although I actually haven't seen it yet, but I have heard the movies are very good)

Guilty Crown (TV-Seirie) by Production I.G

Fate/stay zero (TV Serie) by ufotable.

Sword Art online and sword art online 2 of course (TV-Serie) by A1-Pictures (Amazing sound track, and quality, But sad I can't really say that about the anime it self (Although I personally love the serie)

No game no life and death parade (TV-Serie) by Madhouse

Other recomendation
And my last recomendation would be Nisekoi (TV- Seire) by Shaft.

There are many animes with high quality, but not many that is on "pair" with Fate/Stay night unlimited blade workd 2014, actually the only anime I can think of that is anywhere close (of the anime I have watched (I don't watch anime movies just to be clear, I've only watched the sao movie, fate/stay night unlimited bladeworks movie and fairy tail movie))
is Fate/stay zero.

I dislike it when people make comparisons between the two. It's obnoxious to try and start and argument and then claim you are at the finish line first of all. I mean seriously, who gives a damn? Everyone apparently, which is why huge flame wars have started over judging the merits of both adaptations. Meanwhile, I'm just here saying "seriously? I don't want to debate this. better to keep your opinions under wrap than argue over something subjective like quality." The problem comes when people establish their opinion as fact, and then two people butt heads trying to determine who is right when none of them are right.

TL;DR I shudder when people compare LH and SAO, and I shudder when people compare Gen Urobuchi's Fate/Zero and Type Moon's Fate Stay Night.

I'll second FMA: Brotherhood and Steins; Gate with no reservations. Sword Art Online tends to be a love-it-or-hate-it show, but it's certainly worth giving a try.

Eureka Seven is a great series--animation might not be quite on par with some of the one's that you've listed (it's good-not-great), but the story is absolutely top-notch.

Strike the Blood and A Certain Magical Index are both high quality shows that you'd probably enjoy, given the rest of your list. If you like looking at women's chests, you can add High School DxD and Trinity Seven.

It's an older show, and a complete head-trip, but if you like cyber-punk try Serial Experiments Lain. (The animation is a bit outdated and very strange, but it works in the context of the show.)

Bakemonogatari (and follow-ups) are brilliantly animated and tell an intriguing story, though it's a bit slower paced than most of your list.

If you want to break genres a bit, I'd recommend Clannad (and especially it's second season, Clannad: After Story). It's an unabashed romance (mix of comedy and drama), but it has fantastic animation, solid soundtrack, great story telling (again, especially the second season), and it'll have you laughing through your tears by the end.
