The path of a musician(or artist) is too depressing.

how is it depressing? o.o

It's a drawback of some artist. Maybe it's because they are depressed that they are artist and chose to express it through art...
Depending on the artist, it might be because their art is never recognized. For others it maybe because they are very vulnerable emotionally. Maybe they think or feel too much, get lost in negative thoughts, using it as fuel for their art.

I agree with you....but then again music is a form of expressing one's self even if the song is depressing or happy.....you can put your emotions into it.....but not all artists make songs out of depression ....you can make happy and amazing music not just for fans but for yourself.....to deliver a message to others because others can relate to how you feel.....and even depressing music has beautiful meaning....which help people who go through tough times....but that's just my view of it as a musician.

Most musicians we don't get to hear, unfortunately. I hear record labels just throw demos into the trash, and it's like winning the lotto. So many bands here in LA don't get anywhere. And I feel like that just depresses musicians. And when they try to compare themselves with other musicians too.

I'm speaking out of my experience with friends and family btw they are my references.

oh shit just noticed this but yay i try to be a musician and like some if not a lot are scared to even take the chance cause of how they will be judged and watch their dreams crash its not easy to get there some people just get lucky like justin beiber since he was found on youtube others were around longer then him better but no contract or anything

Yeah most end up professors, studio musicians, freelance, composers, or other various fields in the music.
That reminds me.
I'm seriously gonna cry when John Williams dies, I'm like mentally preparing.

I can sing, on key. I can play several instruments. I can remember things from as far back as when I was one or two. (Mostly trivial stuff.)

I can draw and paint.

Well, despite being fat, I'm pretty limber and can execute kicks at head height from a standing position.

I can also do a very spot-on Jar-Jar Binks impression that I use to annoy people. I don't like the prequels either. That's how I know it works.

I also make some pretty good paper airplanes. Some can even drop little paper munitions.

Used to be decent at Baseball in my younger days.
Haven't found anything I'm awesome at during my young adult life.
It's rather depressing.
