As others have expressed here, I don't mind censoring so much as long as it isn't disruptive. Steam that gets mysteriously opaque in certain areas is one thing, a shaft of light or shadow that stretches across the entire screen is something else.

For much I that I do praise the sun ,I do what it uncensored, I understand the need of it because its a TV stream, yet sometimes stuff can get ridiculous with Sun Flares and Moon Eclipses. I still remember JoJo episode I which an orangutan could smoke withour censoship and in the end Jotaro smoke but was censored, applies to Terraformas random Moon Eclipses on the heads...

Some shows does not have the grace with censorship, most are echi show, where you can see and endless fog and sun flares at any moment, whait for 2 years get the BD and then see it as it was meant by the Animators

The same is true for me. Here at Crunchyroll, it is the broadcast version of a show that is simulcast, and that often means varying degrees of censorship, but there are definitely extremes. I am one of those who found Terra Formars unwatchable with its censorship, which falls into So I Can't Play H levels of intrusiveness. I mean, I don't mind the occasional Mysterious Light Beam ™ or cloud of excessive steam, but blacking out half the screen is just asinine, IMO. (I'm also one of those who appreciates the humor when the characters feel obliged to comment on the censorship in their own show, like in Noucome or Neptunia.)

if the broadcast is censored, can't do much about it but wait for the blu-rays. so I'll watch the censored broadcast version, then the uncensored BDs later.

I only care about censors if they stop you from understanding what's happening i.e. the first couple of episodes of tokyo ghoul

What were you confused about? We knew exactly what was happening.

Not that, there was a part in the alley after Touka had beat up that college guy and like 90% of the entire screen went black.
