Since I'll soon be getting a couple of HDMI splitters and switches, I began to wonder if my entertainment setup is getting overly complicated.

I've got several game consoles, surround sound, and cables going just about everywhere. There's roughly 8 separate cables connecting into my television, but soon it'll be integrated with my computer setup via those HDMI splitters. Basically, it's become a nightmare.

So, how complicated would you rate your entertainment setup, or at least your main one? Pictures are always welcomed to scare others.

It's very simple setup but I like to keep my entertainment in one place so it's rather cluttered.

I cleaned my entertainment station before shooting this picture.

Living room has my main TV hooked to my PS3 through an AC receiver. It gets its internet connection from an Ethernet Jack I passed through from the office which runs to my Modem/Router. The office has my Desktop PC and a network Printer.

There is a hub in the living room that feeds another Ethernet Jack going to the master Bedroom where I have a smaller Smart TV connected to a 5 Disc DVD player / Receiver. There is an HDMI cable connected to the TV in the master bedroom that I sometimes connect my laptop too.

Both receivers have a dock for my Ipod so I can play music in either room.

I have a Sata HD dock at both the desk in the office and the master becroom to easily move my backup drives from the PC to the Laptop.

Complicated. I'd say about as complicated as your own set. I do not have a picture to show right now but I'll try and edit it in later.
My main entertainment set consists of several game consoles a blu ray player, a mediacenter PC I built myself all connected to an AVR which is connected to my television set.
And I've already had to purchase that HDMI switch.

One of these days I'm going to need to take everything out and look at all the cabling again because it's starting to look like Spaghetti.
Perhaps at the same time look for a new cabinet to put everything in.

It's more complicated and dangerous than it needs to be,
therefore it suits me just fine.

Managable enough, however if I ever need to swap something around, I would have to untangle miles of cables to get the right one out...

Bluray player, multiple game consoles, computer, AppleTV, projector, surround sound.. yeah, I don't like moving it or playing with the cords if I don't have to.

3 laptops. that's it. depends on what i'm trying to do. If I'm away from home,it's the work computer. If I'm on CR, it's another computer, and the third computer is just in a different location.

Wii
FreeSat Box
TV
OpenELEC based HTPC
Synology DS215j (Host's my website, FTP and Samba network drive used for the HTPC)
TP-Link Archer C7 Wireless Router (DD-WRT Flashed)
BT Openreach Fibre Modem
Speakers
Brothers Gaming PC + Razer Blackwidow 2014 + Reddragon mouse on an Ikea table
