You're the second guy that in the last few days that complained about Trinity Seven. Now I feel like I should check it out, even if only to strengthen a certain opinion.

It makes for good motivational posters, IMO, but the plot is rubbish. And yes, it does try to be serious, but I find it more amusing than anything else.

Go for it. I've watched shows that people said they hated and ended up liking it. You might end up enjoying it yourself!

Eureka 7's last episode made me laugh more that it should have. Though it was really cliche and silly.

I laughed at the last ten minutes of AnoHana. And this is coming from someone who cried at the end of every Key related anime I've seen.

You are dead to me.

I guess I'll be the one who drops the bomb. Any ecchi which tries to be serious after 10 minutes pure fanservice becomes laughable for me.

I disagree. I don't think it's laughable, but rather cringeworthy and annoying, at least most of the time.

You have no soul. I have nothing more to say to you.

Meh, I didn't feel anything during the supposedly "sad" moments in Clannad, except for maybe slight annoyance, but it was mostly yawning, so it probably doesn't count, same goes for most generic cliched Shounen. High School of the Dead probably doesn't count either, since it's so incredibly camp, it might as well have a laugh track included on the DVD. Guess there are still shows like Sword Art Online or Infinite Stratos, where I was in deed laughing during the "serious" moments, because they were expecting me to get into this shitty written drama, so I guess I'll go with those. Honorable mentions goes to the original Yu-Gi-Oh series, shit was too funny.

When did IS have serious moments? It was harem antics and macha battles for 12 episodes, TWICE.

In that case, I have to wonder if that was intentional. SF is a really odd duck of a series.

For me, a lot of those moments come from Sword Art Online.

There were several moments, even in season two were they were all like "hm, maybe this should have some dark revenge story in it, but not really ...". Last episode of season two was especially laughable in that regard. They didn't happen a lot, but that just made them stick out like a sore thumb even more.
