It's unstoppable! Though how does it fit on the Death Star, if it does? It seems like it would be way too large

I don't think it's meant to fit on the Death Star....

The ship from the '80's movie "Flight of the Navigator" . don't think they ever said it had a name. First runner up would be Talon from Starscape. And second runner up would be the Voidhawks from..... Damn i cant remember the book series........ Anyone else remember a book series with living ships called voidhawks that had a psychic bond with thier captains and reproduced in the gravity wells of gas giants?

I think the greatest qualifier for anything well designed is when it can be remade and re-designed with every incarnation being a winner. For spaceships there are no better examples of this that I can think of than the Arcadia and the USS Enterprise (although I'm only going to post one image from each to avoid cluttering the page)

All good choices, but I tend to prefer the older Galactica than the newer one. The old Galactica reminded me of an alligator. :)

First thing I thought of when I saw Galactica 77 premier. But the engine bundle serves good enough for the tail of the Galactica gator.
