Post Reply I renew for a subscription for CR and I'm not a member still

A few days ago I renew my CR membership via App Store and paid my money. When I tried watching the newest episode of Parasyte it didn't let me as I wasn't a premium for some reason. I talked to Apple Support and got refunded my money and was also told to try to renew the membership via the CR app and try talking to someone from CR if that didn't work. Since I'm posting this its pretty obvious to say I am not a member still even though I have paid. I have yet to receive a receipt for the second purchase but it should appear in my email tomorrow or the day after.

Normally CR cannot assist with payments made via Apple, but you will have better luck with whatever info or assistance thaey can provide by contacting Crunchyroll Customer Support directly via the Contact Us form since it's an account-specific billing issue.

The Support forums are primarily for peer to peer help, and customer support staff generally attend to direct requests before the forums.

Same thing happened to me, CR just responded random bs (as expected). Can't believe I gave money to a 9 years old company who struggle to make working apps. Your buisness practices are shady.. you force people to contact you if they don't wanna lose their remaining days while cancelling? Fucking ridiculous!
You should be ashamed of yourselves. Scammers.

As far as I can tell, you have never been a paying member. At least not one the account you are posting with.
Did you get charged via iTunes when your recent free trial expired?

Nop, my free trial expired couple days ago and I decided to buy a month. I sent the iTunes order number in a mail couple hours ago still waiting on the answer, you want it to? Do you realize how wrong it is to accuse me of never being a paying member when the problem is exactly that I got billed throught iTunes on the exact same e-mail and still am a normal member. Also why is it more expensive on iTunes vs paying throught Paypal? They ignored this question in my first mail also, care to answer it?

iTunes billing and our billing are 2 separate systems. iTunes add on $0.04 for processing your order - they are basically re-selling our service, and all changes to the account type and duration have to be done through their services. There are rare occasions of iTunes payments not properly arriving on our end. As you can tell from my initial reply, we have no record visible of your payment via iTunes, which is also why I asked whether you were charged by them.

I'll forward your case internally, to see whether we can locate your payment.

*edit* It's fixed, your subscription is working properly now.

Hi crunchyroll. I just paid $8 to itunes for a premium membership but everytime i watch anime, there's still an advertisement. Can you please fix this problem, I purchased it so that i dont have to worrry about the ads.

no i did not, it is my account since the beginning, i just stop using the premium membership then after a month a renew it. apple took my money and I'm not able to watch anime without the ads.

Hi i just bought a premium membership but it still says that I'm a normal member. I checked my iTunes account and the premium membership did go through.
Could someone please help me, thanks
